Are you a fiend?

There is no way that picture is genuine.

Not nearly enough trauma. If you are suggesting that the dog was towed behind a boat with those hooks then it has to be the most unrealistic and unlikely picture I have seen,

A load of B*ll*x

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

since when does anyone go sea fishing and use barbless hooks???

I do.
Ahhhh... But not if one was comercially fishing for Shark or any other marine species to be retained.

I've finally got a copy of the video to run on my computer via http://www.30millionsdamis.fr/FR/Dossiers/NosPetitions/Contrelutilisationdechiensvivantscommeappatspourlapecheauxrequins/Contrelutilisationdechienserrantscommeappatspourlapecheauxr equins.asp://http://www.30millionsdamis.fr/FR/Do...auxr equins.asp://http://www.30millionsdamis.fr/FR/Do...auxr equins.asp://http://www.30millionsdamis.fr/FR/Do...auxr equins.asp://http://www.30millionsdamis.fr/FR/Do...auxr equins.asp://http://www.30millionsdamis.fr/FR/Do...auxr equins.asp://http://www.30millionsdamis.fr/FR/Do...auxr equins.asp

and whilst one could argue that it is slightly more compelling than the picture I am still not convinced that it is 100% genuine. The drawing of the curtain at the end of the footage just smacks a little bit too much of drama for my liking and there is no getting around the apparent lack of tissue trauma. The pooch seems quite bemused by the whole matter and shows no obvious signs of sedation in this very limited clip.

I cant even believe there has arisen a 2 page thread over a fake picture/video! Are we actually that dumb? I know fishermen in general arent rocket scientists, but lets have a bit of pride in ourselves here! And on livebaiting, the nerves of mammals work the same as humans. the neves of maggots, worms, fish and crabs do not. This is a fact. they do not feel pain in a conscious way. Maybe someone should close this thread, its a waste of time!
