Great white?

Have worked some realy strange hours of late, (not seen any news reports)and after phoning my step farther last night he told me of a report of a great white sighting in the South west. Can any body shed some light on this. Apparently there was some film footage of it.

i dont think there are any gws in the uk, but i say "never say never"! With all of this global warming pish, im sure it wont be long until there is a true 100% sighting of gws on the uk shore lines. But we will wait and see....so much for global warming, still cold in scotland!!!

I was watching something about sharks on the TV the other week and apparently it's a bit of a mystery why we don't have Great Whites in our waters as conditions are ideal for them.

Great Whites don't frequent the UK coastline because they're intelligent enough to know that we'd catch 'em!!!!

Either that or they poke their heads up and get scared away by some of the ugly b@st@rds sitting on the ends of piers etc!!!!!

I think headlines like this are started because the vast majority of the public can only name one shark, two or maybe three if pressed! Add to this the fact that headlines like "totally harmelsss tope seen off xyz beach , only 3 miles from people paddling" does not sell papers!

 

Just my thoughts...but just in case I'm wrong ...What size hooks are best for ....
