Caught my best fish ever

It is almost impossible to tell by a photo. The biggest Pollack we have ever caught on a fly rod was weighed at 17lb 4 oz. I tried to get the fly rod and reel into the picture and the photo makes the fish look 7 or 8 pounds.

 

I have also seen pictures of 5 lb fish that look huge

Wouldn't get too hung up about the weight it's a cracking fish, you enjoyed cathing it and nothing else really matters.

well done mat nice fish just wish i could get some like that up hear in scotland, never mind the nonsense about the weight ,only thing in my book is, all fish look better swimming away than on a plate but that is only my opinion!!!!!!
