Sorry Barry but I dont understand your logic there! in fact there isnt any!! Seriously though I think that you probably dont understand what a spawn bound carp is or how this situation arises.

 

Carp can become and subsequently die as a result of them not shedding their spawn through breeding.In fact more acurately it is the fact that the "unused" spawn isnt reabsorbed by the fish that causes the problem as carp often dont actually spawn.Sadly any form of closed season isnt going to prevent this.Its just a sad fact of life.
