"World record" carp

Vagabond

Recommended Posts

Page 7 of today's Telegraph carries two pics and story of a couple of big carp. The biggest was 88 lb 6 oz which is claimed as a world record.

The captor, Graham Slaughter, also had a 69 lb common the same session.

They were caught at Rainbow Lake, Bordeaux, France.

Apparently after his catching these two fish, his mates chucked him in the lake :D

nice catch well done to the guy.i expect that most of the big carp are caught by british anglers, because its mainly the british who target them.

dont forget that in many places they are vermin,or at best a nuisance fish.

Am i the only one who hates the sight of the gut hanging down off these big carp? Sure, its a massive fish, but its not exactly a healthy looking specimen.

Almost like saying that you admire those fat *stards who cruise around your local town on their electric trolleys - should they be considered great specimens of humanity?

Boily-fed or burger-fed: its all the same to me!
