Triska?

I`m sure that you`ll work wonders with your cauldron. Just don`t throw any newts in!!

If the weather doesn`t improve, I`ll stay at home. But I`ll leave that decision `till Friday lunch time.

Weather forecasts, either national or regional, are rarely accurate for the area south of Ridgeway, the high ground between Weymouth and Dorchester.

Weymouth gets 29in of rain a year while Dorchester, only 8 miles away gets about 46in!

I have lain on the beach at Abbotsbury in bright sunshine and watched the clouds form as the air passes inland over me.

That`s what happens when you become `unapproachable`.

Triska. I think Saturday is a No No. Gale force southerlies heavy rain, possible thunder storms. Not the best time to be waving a lightening conductor around?

Another time.

Just been down to Abbotsbury to try out a new rod. There's dirty water as far as I can cast with a lot of small bits of weed in the water. If there aren't any Bass in amongst it, my pr***'s a bloater.

Wish I could get over there tonight!

A big point in favor of having at least one or two good fiberglass rods around for storm-weather use.

Hear thunder, see lightning, put the carbon rods in the boat or on the ground and just have glass ones out.
