I prefer it as an additive to my cheese rolls! :thumbs:

 

I have also tried it as a boillie dip, but didn't particularly do that well with it.

 

Mind you, some people swear by it, I must try it again soon.

it can work as can bovril which I much prefer as marmite induces bouts of vd (vomiting and diarhea) when ingested

 

Has always been a good addative but they like it or they dont just like the advert. :yucky:

Soak your chunks of luncheon meat in a Marmite soak overnight....wonderful barbel bait :)

A little useless information if anyone is interested, Marmite is produced from a by-product of beer. When the mash is fermenting the froth is skimmed off the top and is sent away to make Marmite, (or so I was told on a tour of the Youngs brewery).

 

 

......anybody remember PYM? ............... that's probably why Marmite works as well.

Phillips Yeast Mix....you can get it from Holland and Barratt, debittered Brewers yeast.

 

Very tasty, and it still catches fish :)
