Just received news and photos of this Siamese Giant Carp, caught by Kik and estimated at 120kg+.

 

Hopefully, more details to follow (I don't want to just publish the private email of Jean-Francois Helias from http://www.anglingthailand.com)

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Chris - I know what you mean. Jean-Francois is a bit of a legend. Never met the guy, but he's sent me various emails over the years and some of the fish he and his clients catch are beyond belief. There are some wierd looking creatures among them, too (the fish, that is, not the clients! LOL).

Omg that is massive!!

 

I think mine are massive that i have caught, this just sums it up. This should be fun watching all the anglers in the world going to this lake where they have caught this carp to try and catch it themselfs.
