cooker extraction hoods.

Cranfield

Recommended Posts

I need to purchase a cooker extraction hood, the chimney type that extracts to the outside.

During my "research" I found information on the Internet, regarding the size of the fan required relating to the kitchen size.

Now I am about to make the purchase, I can't find the website again.

Does anyone know what the "formula" is ?

I don't want to get one too underpowered, but I also don't want something that is going to sound like a jet taking off and suck the tiles off the walls.

Any help, as usual, will be appreciated.

........unfortunately they all tend to be much noisier than a straightforward extractor fan, 50 - 60 decibels is quite normal, often much louder on full blast.

If you can fit one in somewhere an in-line induction fan is quieter and will almost certainly be more effective.

There's a good selection of various fans (and associated accessories) on the site with the calculator below.

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))
