Looks like the fist two weeks of August were the nearest thing we'll get to summer in 2007. The rain is back and the first of the trees (The Horse Chestnut's) are well on their way over to autumn colours.

Oh, yes, and have you noticed that the nights are drawing in ?

Yep, started to get dark at 8 last night. And for the rain, indeed, 2 weeks of hot weather and thats it. I cannot moan tho as i'm florida for 2 weeks on 14th of September. Can i brag somemore? :P

Well I have ben out in it for almost every weekday all year, and I think it has been pretty good all round....but then I don't like stinking hort weather...no good for fishing :)

 

Some of the leaves are turning on the Beeches, but they turned early two years ago.........

LOL i take it you are off to india again then ken!ª

when i lived in the uk, the worst weekend of the year was when the clocks changed at the end of october.

you knew you had months of dark morning and evenings ahead.

the earliest it gets dark here is just after 6pm, at the end of dec.

makes the winter much more pleasant.
