No go I'm afraid. There's no gain without pain and this idea means being available to the great British public outside their normal working hours.

 

Of course if you wanted to run a fishery near the coast then that's different.

 

Perhaps a rowing boat ferry service to the parts of Chesil Beach that others can't reach.

the carryall was a thick stiff material that worked very well       faily heavy but at least you could drop it without damage to it or its contents

I've still got mine ! Bought in the early sixties, and used ever since - I'm not sure if it is the "Carryall" brand though, but otherwise it meets Chesters description.

 

The material is tough enough not to worry about it catching on brambles, hawthorn bushes etc on the way to your swim. Much heavier than modern rod holdalls (but carrying it is good exercise )

Loads of people have given up jobs to set up a business,

Just posted on the nonfishing section, camper van to hire in Holland.

 

It is not intended as a business venture, just to cover the expenses of maintenance, dry storage etc.
