Is there anyone who wants to borrow or try any tackle on the day?

Also due to a change of plan I will be driving down from Mitcham and not Ashford on the Sunday morning.Anyone on route (or close) wants a lift please let me know.

I am so fed up this is on a Sunday, best of it is we have a free Sunday this week. I was going to arrange a 'catch up' match as we are a few behind but I have some of my team away, shame it couldn't have been next week. Maybe next year one could be arranged for a Saturday.

Lyn, hopefully this will be worth doing again next year - if so we'll have it on a Saturday :) The main reason for choosing a Sunday was that unless I got up at about 4.30am I wouldn't be able to get there on time; this way I can stay overnight on the Saturday.

The weather's looking good, getting milder with a nice Southerly, instead of the icy Easterlies we've been having for a week or so.

We have just been getting the wine stove Kelly kettle etc out of the shed ready for next week.

As my big Perch trip was iced off yesterday will it be woth bringing the lobs and maggots along are there any big stripeys around or even decent Bream?

Hi Tony, apparently around the bridges on the cut-off there are some good perch at the moment, and the cut-off usually fishes well for both bream and tench in winter, using worm as bait and feeding molehill soil and worm. The wissey has some decent perch too, again usually around the bridges and boats.

A few pics to whet your appetite for Sunday, they were taken very early , just as the sun was rising, on a frosty morn so the contrast is a bit steep.

Morning :) Small update:

Volunteers to show someone the ropes: me, Budgie, Chris Bishop

Those who'd like to fish alongside someone: Will Wilkinson, stuchef, wayneX2, Mat Hilman, norfolkfisher

I still haven't heard from wayneX2 or norfolkfisher so as it stands how about the following:

I fish with Will W

Budgie fishes with Mat Hilman

Chris B fishes with stuchef

Any more for any more?

Hi Anderoo,

Sorry for not contacting you sooner with contact details etc but this has snuck up fast, I'd forgotten it was happening this weekend. However, I am still available and looking forward to it.

Anyway if you could send the map and meeting details to my email address which is WayneX2@live.com I would be very greatful.

Fantastic pictures ginger, consider my appetite well and truly whetted!
