Channel light vessel had 3 hours of solid force 10 this morning, one of which was 0.1knots below F11 with a 24ft swell. I've just driven past a house with a row of half a dozen tiles fallen through the roof and the firebrigade's turntable ladder sorting it out. Sea state is simply ridiculous!
