hi everyone

 

i am wondering if any one knows were i could buy a second hand fairly cheap zziplex beach rod

 

i am using the daiwa sts13pm and i do a hec of a lot of beach fishing and i want to get a better beach caster with a bit stronger but

 

could anyone give me any advice, if not a zziplex could anyone give me advice on a really good strong beach rod

You will be very lucky to find a cheap second hand Zzipplex as they hold their price very well but you may just get lucky.

Get a Conoflex or a Centry? beter rods In my opinion I have owend Zipplexes they are not the be all and end all although I had to try a few before I came to that conclusion.

Ebay, or maybe put the feelers out with your local tackleshop or club. You could ask for recommendations on www.myfishcasting.org too. As suggested above, there's more to life than zziplex, both century and conoflex do excellent reliable rods, and the AFAW range is supposed to be really good too.

I've still got my 2 favourite Zippies, a Federation and a Dream Machine, GS Special Match.

I've had others but traded them on to friends but I just love these 2 so much I wouldn't part with them, well not cheaply.
