I've only just tiled the bathroom and for a few seconds I was watching the tiles to see if they would fall off.

I felt it, shook the bed.

 

Check around the house......no damage thank goodness.

sounds like the epicenter was near Sheffield.

5.3 on the BBC this morning so quite a reasonable rattle.

Now being reported as a 5.3. From the BBC

The British Geological Survey (BGS) said the epicentre of the 5.3 magnitude quake was near Market Rasen, Lincolnshire.

 

Never felt a thing here in Southampton, too far away I guess.

 

Imagine what a Mag 7. must be like, 100 times more severe
