Dog biscuit recommendation?

We also used to make a floating boilee cake by adding two or three extra eggs to the boilee mix together with some extra sodium cassienate or some baking powder and baking it in an oven until it became a cake like texture.

It would last a lot longer than floating crust plus you could also add some colouring and flavouring to the mix before cooking.

Cat Biscuits are also good, especially the "Go Cat" ones, a lot of which are a fish shape & hold very well when Banded.

We have a Cat - so a handful will go missing from time to time lol.

Daft as that sounds Dave, maybe breaking a Bonio Biscuit into irregular shapes & sizes might not be such a bad Idea!!

Matt Hayes, actually Superglues biscuits onto the hook shank so the hook bit is above the surface & less visible!!

He also sometimes cuts a "Pop up Boillie" into a rough shape to simulate a dog biscuit & a similar colour (& Superglues as above) - they are more buoyant than biscuits which counteracts the weight of the Hook so it sits in the water same as the Biscuits. (whilst loose feeding the dog biscuits)

I'm fond of Sticky Baits fantastic Krill Floaters

The 3mm ones are great in a PVA mesh bag if you need the hookbait to pop up above weed etc when ledgering as well

Sooo....I've found a winner. Home Bargains' little dog treats. They're bone shaped, pale in colour and about an inch or so long. They stay afloat for donkeys' years and drilled lengthways, they take a hook nicely and the hook up rate is very good. Fish seem a lot less suspicious of them too.
