Where's My Cig's??

My Wife ordered the normal shopping from Morrisons yesterday including 100 Cigarettes which were not delivered, but paid for on the receipt (£47.12p)

The Driver normally asks us to check the cigarettes as a high value Item (same as alcohol, 2 bottles etc) - but this time did not!!

They rang the driver & could not get hold of him!! - Maybe they have some sort of Scam going??

Or Maybe Morrisons think Customers are taking the **** - Meanwhile I've had to fork out for 100 Cig's from Local shop while they sort it!!

I've half a mind to Sue?? The suspicion could also fall on us!!

Same here! Still waiting for the benefits! i was fat i got fatter so substituted lung cancer for a heart attack As for the money you just substitute spending on fags for spending on something else to take your mind off fags

Well Guys, Lo & behold, It's happened again, 2 weeks on the trot!!

This time, Ciggies (or should I say Lack of them) were checked while the driver was still on the doorstep & he phoned his (Ocado) Manager.

We were Refunded the £47. 50 or so on the spot, but the driver also asked us to phone Morrisons Customer Services.

The Morrisons Manager has now issued an "Escalation Ticket" at their end as something is clearly going off!! He also refunded the delivery charge.

Yes - the drivers all work for Ocado, though the Vans have the Morrisons Livery.

Hopefully, the culprit/s have fallen foul by hitting on the same customer twice within a week!!

There are cameras all over the vans, but I've no idea whether they run all the time.

Cameras in my experience are never on when you need them to be ,my mrs suddenly took ill at home 2 days after returning from her last knee opp and the paramedic called an ambulance which took her back in . i had a phone call that she was going to be kept overnight .

Suddenly at 2 am i heard a knock and she was back ,she told of the male 'nurse,' on duty at the A&E forcing her to get off a bed (shes 4ft 11 !) Because she needed to go to the loo ,no assistance ,no wheelchair despite her opp a few days before who then ridiculed her on the way back saying "well she can walk now!",she complained  and was chucked out and arrived home by taxi . i asked for the camera footage of the incident to be told the camera in the lobby wasnt working that night .I have every second from the arrival of the paramedic ,me waving to the ambulance as it arrived (it was by then dark ) and her going into the ambulance on a gurney and then arriving home at 2 on DVD copied from my DVR,if a simple pensioner can have all that footage i would expect a huge building with cameras all over the place (for the safety of patients and staff) to have the same ,isnt it strange its broken when it could show something they dont want to be seen ? You can bet rozzers body cams will be broken if you come home with a few bruises aswell

The most rediculous thing i ever saw was a sign attached to one of Farnhams camera poles asking for witnesses  to an attack that occurred under it ! What's the fricking point of them if they don't work? I would advise everyone to have cameras they are great for catching out deliveries that dont arrive and if i drove i would have them on the car aswell for brake checkers and the like

Do an FOI request, asking for details of all of the cameras covering the area. It's very unlikely that there is only one.

When you have the camera locations, do another Subject Access Request, specifying which cameras you want footage from.

One "faulty" camera is unfortunate. Four "faulty" cameras would be evidence of deliberate and highly illegal withholding of evidence requested under the provisions of the data Protection Act.

I did an FOI that was the result ,i have no doubt had i pressed the matter "patient safety" or the words "data protection " would have been heard . I did look into it at the time and found if my request involved third parties it can be withheld unless they gave permission .As you can imagine the A&E will be pretty full of people mooching about so i can see the problem .Probably flashes of arse showing dont you know the cost of pixelation nowadays! Perhaps they could nust say the curtains were closed so out of sight of the camera for patient safety etc i also doubt they record audio the cameras i noticed  whilst visiting were in globes and it was what the guy said that was revelant

FOI isnt non problematic there are plenty of get out clauses and expense limited although i know the times no doubt they could merely say retrieving the footage would cost a great deal ,you know some "tech" would charge a grand a second under some PFI deal labour obtained that still hasnt been paid off! If they get charge £400 to change a socket the cost of data retreival and the charges for a DVD would no doubt be extortionate

Pointless now it was in 2011 i doubt they could afford to store gazillions of terrabytes of data for that long lol I have 5 (no its 7) cameras my 4tb disk only holds a month ! And would the quality be any good ?all mine are 5mp only the ptz ones show perfect footage and only one camera actually follows you about to get a picture of your face and store it ,i doubt the NHS has anything near that they are to busy spending their loot on art and signs in 20 languages
