spicy hemp for roach?

It'll soon be time for hemp 'n tares for roach. I usually use the standard unflavoured hemp, but there on the shelf in the angling shop there is also the spicy variety. I expect this is mainly for carp, but perhaps roach would like it too? What kind of hemp do you use for roach?

Phone was always a huge proponent of capsaicin for attracting cyprinids, and he pointed out several times, it's the key ingredient in the Robin Red range of baits.

I've added chilli to hemp while cooking it, and it's certainly not detracted from its effectiveness.

I prefer other baits, but when I have used hemp I never added flavours.
