Charter Boats

Prelude

Recommended Posts

By the way, if anyone wants to sell a boat or boating gear (or anything else for that matter), I have set up a website for advertising........it is 100%free, no strings attached. You can advertise stuff with upto six pictures.....it is just a toy so use it if you wish (by the way, I do have a banner ad on there for Prelude).

My next rip is on the 6th November, lets hope the wind has died down by then!

Will let you know what is about in the area.

Back on the dog subject, I have a boxer that gets sea sick but just loves to nick the squid!

kind regards

Gary

hi folks,

new to the site but found this thread very entertaining and informative. on the dog thing, we took our gsd on the rocks with us as she is a bit of a mountain goat and she ran away when the macky were flapping about while being landed lol (at least she only ran off 20yds or so).

I remember when I had a smaller boat, we were leaving the harbour going past some anglers who were laughing at the boxer and the yorkie with their lifejackets on. They were shouting "what are they"?

I replied.......yes you guessed............."Dogfish"

kind regards

Mr Prelude ........

can you match this?

I have fished with him for 17 years ......

not going to name him, but ....

individuals (Thurs) days £26-50 including squid/mackerel and hermits. (8hr trip)

Works non-stop ..... checks gear is on the bottom for those who don't know.

Sorts out tangles and traces.

Mid-week £220 up to 12 seats (43' boat)

Weekends £250 ....... ditto

Cleans/fillets/skins any 'keepers' on the way home

and brings them back to you in a bucket of clean sea water.

Never ever heard him swear or get angry.

Takes youngsters out in our annual Juniors Festival for £5 inc rod/reel/tackle/bait/tuition.

I think the Juniors Festival for your area might be productive .....

just a few suggestions .....

regards

Hi Ada,

No, I can not match that at the moment, sounds like a really good deal.

If a skipper is offering deals like this it would be great to share them with your fellow anglers - you should name him, I am sure he would appreciate it. If he is not in my area I would like to come on an indivuduals day.

Respect to your skipper and I am glad you are loyal to someone that offers superb value for money.

The Juniors festival sounds like a good idea, cheers.

kind regards
