Animal Liberation Front

A Norfolk Boy

Recommended Posts

Listening to interview on R4 the other day and spokesman for the ALF could not deny that shooting and fishing were on the radar now that foxhunting is banned (strangely, you can still hunt rabbits.....). The Green Party has also said that it would initially seek a voluntary ban on fishing. This summer, somewhere in the southwest, The Lobster Liberation Front (I kid you not) recently smashed up a fishermans boat and boatshed to the tune of £10K. There have also been cases of lone fishermen being attacked. I'm not spreading scare stories, but in a few years or a couple of decades you may look back and remember hearing of what may seem today, to be a ridiculous notion. Logic, bear in mind, does not come into the equation.

Is this undue paranoia, or has anybody else encountered this?

An Animal Right's spokesperson on Radio4's 'The Battle for Influence' last Thursday said that they wanted to get the UK population down to about 6 million so that the animals weren't so crowded out!!

Now the toffs cant hunt foxes perhaps they could hunt smelly people who want to ban fish and chips. Just a suggestion but it would give the hounds some exercise.

I'm sorry but please.... fish are stupid they have 2 things on their brains feeding'n'breeding now I dont condone and will not tolorate cruelty or unnecesary suffering to any animal but to try and class fish as an intelligent animal is going a bit far, a well handled, quickly disgorged fish will suffer no long term effects to its feeding'n'breeding priorities

women love me, fish fear me!!

Yep, as I've said many times, their mind-set is not loving animals, its hating people.

When they collect money on the streets from daft old ladies against "vivisection", they should be obliged to give a health warning. "We are against testing new drugs on animals - test them on NHS patients instead"

I wonder what that would do to their income?

Isn't this posted in the wrong forum ? Surely this should be in the "Non Fishing Chat" section?

Post your political views in there & keep this forum for chat about sea fishing instead
