Tell them to contact Stan Massey at http://www.alba-rods.co.uk/page2.htm.

He makes big game rods and exports all around the world. He builds to order. He will be able to sort them out for sure .I know that Stan has made a rod with a 5000 great white in mind, two men could not bend it :headhurt:

Check out his saltwater flies when you get into his website. I believe some deranged Geordie ties for him :lol::lol:

Is it the strongest, or the heaviest that he's looking for Elton?

It has to be the one with the highest test curve I would have thought. You could have a very heavy rod that might fail at 50lb test curve.

Would love to see this rod that Stan built. It was put into a proper rod clamp and Stan and a male assistant pulled as hard as they could together and moved the rod tip 8" WHAT :headhurt::headhurt::headhurt:

If I was a betting man would stick a wedge onto Stan :)
