A T = Resist a sea angling licence until there is evidence that sea anglers will benefit

Or pub talk, gossip. Whisper, nudge, nudge.

Difficult to know who to beleive. At present i will have to go with the former, unless the latter can come up with something of substance.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

The wording has changed, Barry, and that's cause for concern. They haven't changed it for no reason. Evidence that anglers will benefit is a world away from actual benefits. Don't forget, the RSA travesty was supposed to benefit anglers, even though most anglers who expressed an opinion didn't want want one. If they dig that monster up again, hey presto, evidence of benefits.

DRUNK DRIVERS WRECK LIVES.

Don't drink and drive.

I find it quite ironic that Keith Arthur keeps dragging up the matter of licensing sea anglers.

Was it not KA that was calling upon freshwater anglers to boycott a mass renewal of EA licenses due to the old 'Eastern Europeans' stealing fish issue?

What does he suggest sea anglers do................ should they ever become licensed?

Immediately boycott paying for one due to Europeans exploiting our territorial waters under their grandfather rights agreements?

IMO, his arguments do not hold water, his radio show, especially, is littered with inaccuracies, and as far as sea angling politics goes his background knowledge is almost non existent!

unfortunatly, many stupid people will belive every word.

"because its on the radio"

just as they also belive whats in certain newsapers.

Is it not "The Sun" of radio?

Lets hope that Richard Benyon doesn't listen to the radio. After all, he's probably the one that needs telling that we don't want licences, as I can't see Salter's successor being more than a shadow minister come next year.

Maybe, as individuals, we should start lobbying him?

Well Ive read all about what Kieth Arthur says the AT will do,Ive read angling journos say what they are going to do,Ive read what members on here think the AT will /wont do but as with all of these groups of people who claim to represent me I still haven't been told by the AT EXACTLY what THEY are going to do! And obviously as they know best they've never asked me what I think/would like to see them do!

Seen it all before.Same old type of people banging the same old gong and doing absolutely F all as always.......just that this bunch of cheeky sods are trying to make it compulsory for me to give them money to support their egos!!

I'm that alienated and sceptical now that I doubt even if a half decent "governing/uniting body" came along that I would even give them a chance! Sad really when you take in to account I would really like to see such a body!

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!
