I was loaned a book of a similar name about 10 years ago. Had much more information in it. The Effra starts around Brixton which was once a trading area

The two best times to go fishing are when it's raining and when it's not

This is the problem with most plastics, they break down over time, but don't disappear.

I've tried to get some impartial evidence on the residue left by PVA bags used in angling, but can't find any. The amount I've seen used on some stillwater fisheries, begs the questions, what residue is left in the water, what form is it in, and what accumulative effect (if any), does it have on the fish or the aquatic environment over time?

Trying to work out what this thread has to do with plastics and PVA bags.... :g:

Your right Chris, a 'senior' moment I'm afraid. I got mixed up with the two posts you made today.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John
