  1. Yesterday
  2. Hi guys & gals, I've just watched this on YT. It's in French but a picture paints a thousand .........
  3. Australian music icon Frank Ifield, who scored four UK number one hits in the 1960s, has died at the age of 86. The country singer, who was known for incorporating yodelling into his songs, also gave The Beatles an early break by booking them as a support act in 1962.
  4. We have sat in an empty waiting room for an hour (unfortunately we have to get bus before the bus we should get as they often never come) and heard call after call being sent to lower bourne surgery (which is always packed now we know why!) i think because its a "group" they dont want the head practice to appear not to have long waiting times they chuck most of the apointment seekers to the other practice . The one at Farnham hospital is always empty and strangely all of the posters that used to bring your attention to various complaints or the abuse board (posters about abused old people and girls etc ) have gone .The ipad tablet thing has gone (the one further up the hall is still there but still hidden behind a floor mounted sign ) neither have ever been turned on and the screen that used to show what muzak was beeing played is now blank and the sound now is backto the bloody never-ending cd of ghastly jazz. Cant remember if i mentioned it but the doctor told me to come off Metformin for a fortnight (i have brought this up more than once as a possible culprit but got nothing but raised eyebrows) and 2 days later the rush to the bog bit has gone (touch wood) unfortunately my glucose levels have gone up so high the APP suggested taking another sample( i did it was higher) so an alternative needs to be found . The injection i used to take along with it is unobtainable (in reality sold for a higher price to rich people as its supposed to make you lose weight) but i dont know where the glucose comes from it was pre breakfast so should have been far lower . The vampires (phlebotomist s) which used to be a walk in take a ticket service is now a prebooked service only available via an app and usually a 2 week wait but looking at the waiting room its empty so bugger knows why the change since covid ? As for pharmacies and pills they supplied my mrs her epilepsy ones but never mentioned one box were a different potency i noticed her increased petit mal fits and had a peek and instead of 400mg they were 100 , admittedly it said take 4 (to make up the difference) but who looks after years of taking the same pills .the box is the same the pills looked the same the pharmacist could have popped a post it on that box its not difficult. Just did my glucose pre dinner it again warned me ,this time its 24 all i had for breakfast was 2 crumpets obviosly they are packed with sugar Emailed them should i use metformin or suffer high glucose and they refferered me to the online consultation app again which will no doubt triage me for a week then suddenly realise in a fortnights time it didnt .I had hoped a simple reply saying one of the other i am sure a receptionist could have stopped knitting for 5 minutes and ask the doc for an answer and got back in ten minutes or so.I did try phoning but ten minutes at 53p a minute plus connection fee still at number 3 made me put it down grrr Looks like tate and lyle are dropping sugar bombs around here ,nothing to eat and just water to drink and i cut the lawn but glucose still at 19 obviously Metformin does its job ok but such bad side effects
  5. Last week
  6. All of this really makes me wonder. Had similar experiences and problems just before my Mum died, hours and hours spent in a phone queue trying to get through to her surgery, at one time of phoning I got down to “number one in the queue” and then stayed number one for an hour before the line went dead. My GP here is brilliant, a few weeks ago I had my grandson staying and was unable to get a blood reading for his coagulation level, phoned my own surgery (he doesn’t live here) at 2pm to see if they could help, got an appointment at 3pm same day. Monday afternoon phoned GP for non urgent appointment, got one on Thursday with an apology for delay as my own GP is on holiday. NOT bragging in any way, my surgery has the same rules and levels of funding as the rest, bad practice and poor quality service is often excused by those too lazy to do the job properly and are keen to put the blame elsewhere. Just before I moved I went to pharmacy for my pills to find they were wrong yet again, I’ve been taking the same pills for a decade at least, it’s like a direct debit not hard to repeat. Pharmacy can’t sort it so go upstairs to GP, foreign voice tries to explain I have to telephone in with repeat prescription enquiries, go home spend a couple of hours trying to get through, when I do finally manage towards the end of the day to get an answer and explain the error the same recognisable voice tells me that it can’t be dealt with on the phone and I have to attend surgery. And yes, in a slightly raised voice I point out that the same person talking to me now was the same person who told me differently that morning at which point I am told that I am being “abusive” and the call would be terminated, which it was!
  7. Q. What’s the difference between a conspiracy theory and the truth? A. These days about six months to a year.
  8. Mine has got another 140lb to go, then.
  9. Summer 2024 has arrived to East Central Florida, water temperatures rising, early mornings alive with fish activity, schools of baitfish, mullet are abundant, our best variety of different fish species of the year in summer, all the sub tropical species have moved north from their cool season south Florida haunts, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Pompano and others have joined our resident fish that live hear all year long, Seatrout, Redfish, Snook and more. 10. Most cats are to lazy to take on quirrels and magpies but blackbirds and tits are easily caught .Theres loads of cats around here but most birds are killed by the local kestrels going by the piles of feathers i see in the garden .never seen a cat nor a kestral take on squirrels or magpies / jackdays if they did there wouldnr be so many around here nesting in peoples chimneys . I wish someone would shoot this bloody songthrush ,its singing non stop when do they bloody eat ,costing me money to turn up the tv so i can hear it. perhaps humans should kill everything we dont eat or use to our benefit . You cant even buy a 4 and 20 blackbird pie anymore its crazy and dont mention ****ing canaries our nextdoor neighbour had one at our first house on and on and on with its stupid singing ,all non ethnic species should be wiped out unless their edible and only then bred to be eaten As for our local magpies we know where all their nests are when you feed them their not trying to hide their nests location they fly staight there and back we enjoy giving them whole slices of bread then watch them trying to get them back home lol The ravens bully them off but are seemingly frightened of the bread but eventually get brave enough to grab a bit .
  11. Having had time to take a proper look this morning, I'm pretty sure the rods etc are actually seconds. Some of the decals aren't on properly, some of the rings aren't quite in line etc. I doubt any of that will make a significant functional difference, though, and the prices look to be in line with what we've previously seen on the customs declarations for similar rods from other manufacturers (Greys) that are made in China. They obviously should have declared that they are seconds, but I'm not complaining.
  12. We now have a new neighbour who "allegedly" has a killer cat so the squirrels may now get less. A shame as they are now at an acceptable level but I can't complain as some people like the magpies that I have reduced to an "almost acceptable level".
  13. My stuff arrived. There are a couple of bent eyes on one of the 1.75 rods, but everything is perfectly serviceable. The 1.75s look nice, with a holographic brown finish and green whipping. The tip rod is basic, but a spare for less than a tenner has to be worth a punt.
  14. Not sure how that would effect the stuff i am looking for .And the site is only 150 yards from me ,i doubt we could get that accurate ,my vision of a DNA virus would be better i am sure . What about rounding them up putting them in a camp with all their mates, killing the weak as they arrive and working the strong to death and burning them .......no wait i think thats been copyrighted ,i wonder who owns it now?
  15. Better to nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure....
  16. Thats them ,i used to litter pick up there in exchange for metal detecting ,leaving litter seems racial it was everywhere even fag packets hidden in the flowers surrounding the graves of the past head honhco and his woman so we will inherit that although looking about it predates them and is getting worse . They are very laid back they even didnt decapitate me when i reveal there is no god one female even gave me a fab lolly on a very hot day and then chatted for 5 minutes while i ate it . Big change when the head guy moved in security is very tight now ,hes supposed to have 100 guards and i believe it but all are freindly i never had any trouble removing their valuables from under their fields one guy asked for my predecimal coins and i let him have the ones i didnt want .whether they are really different i dont know i guess they found obeying the rules (mostly) and being respectful to those that allow them to stay here works the opposite of the other lot who purposely do the opposite. They chat to my mrs aswell which would be unheard of in othef places and had no bother with me and my son or daughter having a snack metal detecting in Ramadam if only they were all like them the world would be a better place even better if the west could invent s nerve agent that wiped them out lol
  17. Sounds like the lot near you are Ahmadiyya folks. The get some serious grief. There's good and bad in every group, but that doesn't mean that we should accept being replaced in our own country.
  18. The bigger it grows the more blind they become .saying that its not just cities since the head bloke has moved into tilford the village is filling up.Thinking about it the one up the street whos on the council has been far more helpful than the ethnic idiots on the council when we get seen on the road most will give us a lift even our white neighbours just wave as they pass Believe me the ghetto is VERY fearful of mainstream Muslims so probably more reliable to take our side when the SHTF I mentioned in another post one of the guys on the gate who gave me his meal one EID (its gets Allahs eye i suppose) went back to pakistan and was killed because he wasnt the right type of Muslim (obviously feeding an infidel didnt catch the eye after all) most are far more please t than the ethnic villageers even the youths are respectful which is the opposite than the usual chip on the shoulder mainstream brats ,it could be our beards though but i always say to them i am unconvertable lol
  19. I'm sure 'tinternet told you that the Kalergi Plan is a debunked "far right conspiracy", just like "The Great Replacement". The only people dumb enough to believe that are those who have never visited Birmingham, London, Leicester etc with their eyes open.
  20. I had to google you bugger lol The same happened in ww2 ,that naughty Churchil imported hundreds of thousands of yanks to breed with the brits whilst the males were fighting frances war in europe ,then ofcourse half the world fled here (including many french who should have been fighting for their country but decided the uk was better at the time, how thats changed!) to breed with the silly girls that are taken in by them. I keep seeing Donald Sutherland in invasion of the body snatchers pointing at an unreplaced human ,soon our foreign replicants will be doing the same when a white Englishman walks down the road ! The trouble is the English were far superior to all these foreigners and needed controlling and the envy for englands way of life contadicted theirs and needed getting rid of ,breeding out is easier than bullets ,doesnt apply now though its been so successful in the last 50 years (aided and abetted by joining the EEC and then the EU) and the brainwashing of our young into thinking anyone not their parents is telling the truth (in increasing ludicrously ways)the English now are to scared to admit they are English and johny foreigner and their puppets our government excell in keeping the protests in check as we saw in london on St Georges day ,the streets are full of foreign flags but dare show ours and your in trouble ,once we are all in this "melting pot" envisaged by our betters the probablem wont exist but will be replaced by far more religeous strife than a few guys walking about with red and white flags one day a year. Not sure why our leaders are happy to be replaced by foreigners (as we have been) but i guess they have been warned ofdire consequenses of not obeying and rewarded for their efforts of looking the other way whilst britain becomes a poor moslem third world country like all muslem countries are. Every day the soldiers of islam invade our land and are welcomed and rewarded by the state ,they wait for the signal to start their intifada against the hated infidel and the government dont care hopefully the promises of those controlling them are not the lies they tell us but i guess they are to stupid to predict what will happen to them in the califate of britain thats coming whilst like the film we sleep unwilling to stop it.
  21. Finally got a response an actual doc phoned and miraculously a chap appeared in an hour to take blood after i was made officially "house bound" (which strangely brought tears to my eyes ) Saying that i now notice you not only need their app to get an appointment you also now need an authenticator app to use it . I never had much luck in the past but having just installed a NAS (interesting thing different to what i thought was just hardrives in a box for storage) you installed the makers authenticator app which seems to work faultlessly .No idea how they work i am not that interested so much so i havnt even removed one of those usb key things for the same purpose i bought last year out of its wrapper. Strange noises all night in bedroom (i wish) so its now installed in a cupboard in the front room ,thing was moving its heads all night doing whatever it was doing As for the online stuff i declined making my records going on line (theres even a note in my records (viewing online lol) to date there seems to be no problem seeing my notes in hospitals or surgeries (even the pharmacy appears to be able to see them ) so i presume as usual no means yes big brother knows best On the other side its now easy to send your BP charts or glucose records into their system as a pdf they dont need a brain to drag it from my email ,i say easy but i defy you to find their email address on their website.sure beats printing it out and handing it to them personally. Biggest problem is my phone sits in a drawer so their sms messages go unheard ,had they used emails it would be easier they would pop up on my other devices . The doctor seemed not to have me on her pc she didnt realise when i had my scans ,i told her due to my problem i havnt been outside my garden since i last saw the doctor ,when was that she asked ,i heard her gasp when i said october last year ,why she asked .i asked if she had read the very thiing she was responding to lol. I presume theres just a list of names to contact and not much info other than the name and number not really the way to run efficiantly imho As the chap was emptying me of blood we chatted and he admitted something was going on ,not only was he working more his "house bound" clientele were very young and seemingly fit .He said it started with covid and increasingly his clientele were far more "dusky" than before most couldnt grasp English which seems to prove my opinion the non productive old are being replaced with even less productive young .
  22. Unfortunately they changed the name but not the rest
  23. You imagine a file - with a big red sticker on the front hat says that your loved one's affairs can be discussed with you. No more. Physical files are largely a thing of the past. Everything will be scanned in and stored as a PDF - often as an image, so users can't even search the documents using a machine. It's all a bit crap. As for the ongoing push to put all public services on-line, I despair! There seems no awareness that doing this disenfranchises whole swathes of society.
  24. The challenge is the cheaper / beginner line, better option would be Concept or Solitude if you can But delivery is a problem with Evri being totally useless, which deters me from ordering again. I believe Bob and Co had in store stock to collect. There seems no other option than Evri for couriers.
  25. I've just looked and may go for the Challenge XT barbel rod, only £16 and that includes what looks to be a freespool reel. It doesn't mention the test curve but i'd imagine it's a 1.75lb.
