Spasor I totally agree with what you say AND believe it or not I DO sympathise with KB,I just don't think it's fair to blame Hammond for the way society is!The guy provides entertainment to millions of people and that is why there has been so much fuss made about him.

I don't understand the BBC,they dropped fishing from my local station last year but if you tune into BBC Radio Newcastle they put out an excellent fishing programme hosted by Railton Howes (sp) every week! (you can listen to Radio Newcastle on the web)

I like Berkley lines but find that they are more sensetive to the kind of knots used than other makes.

I have been fishing the Thames between Thamesmead and Gravesend for the past 20 years and have noticed that the Eels have reduced both in size and quantity to such a point that they are now a suprise rather than a nuisance!
