  5. my experience with my first mobile a 3310 on cellnet was that it never had a signal whenever i wanted to use it ,after again losing a connection a 2lb club hammer sorted it once and forall my cheapy motarolla on orange does the job and has a built in radio ,well it does when i can be bothered to charge it mobile phone = enforced slavery ,if someone cant ring you ,they cant ask you to do something for them

  9. 64mb for free ,my first pc had an expansion board with 3mb on it to supplement its 640k ,truly hi tech times ,had to strip loads of old machines to fill it then "troubleshoot" for hours to find the dead chip that stopped it working nowadays 64mb is whats on your graphics card ,how times change

  11. youl have to look in the manual or take a peek at the website , you may get some even cheaper memory if your machine is two years old ,there may be tradins available ( memory has trebled in speed ,yours may be old slow stuff) their all "state of the art" when you buy them unfortunatly by the time you put it together and switch it on its listed on the manufacturers site as "obselete" :mad: do not buy anything before finding out what memory it uses AND if you have vacant slots to put it in

  13. i tried reelvalue ,they didnt seem to know the difference between abu 507 goldmax2 to a cardinal goldmax2 :confused: i also used an e`mail address supplied by phonebush (where is he??) to a higher up in the company ,who mailed his workshop that it was chenile ,when i mailed him it certainly WASNT chenile and supplied a photo of it ,all went quite chenile NOT

  16. typical :confused: the advert was from an american firm (sealy, part of gladding) advertising an english based production (intrepid ,falmouth) reel ,do i have to find the photographer of the advert ???? ,it gets harder in an british publication i`m phoning sean o,driscol tomorrow (tackle and guns) i`l make sure i get written permission to use his magazines adds unless ofcourse they belong to the person who took the pics why is life so difficult for fat bearded people ) [ 03.   18. are you sure its not 64mb disk space :confused: if its is memory ram then its cheap enough ,have a look through the manual to see what it can take then fill all the slots ,playing with graphics files needs all the memory you can get ,there is nothing worse than waiting 5 minutes for a picture to load ,64mb is about the smallest you can get away with nowadays ,the more the merrier newt you beat me to it [ 03.   19. i have found an advert in an old annual (the sun book of fishing about 1979 ,ring publications) i cannot find any references to the publisher on the web (they might have changed name???) i emailed the suns corperate dept asking if i need their permission but have had no responce ,how long does the copyright last or is the add still the property of the advertee? any help appreciated :confused:
  20. this is the only forum i go on (although registered with a couple of others) the other angling sites i visit are in the collectors tackle type ones in my intrepid research type thing away from angling its sites like " www.thegermannaughty.com " to download hard core porn (name changed to protect minors) [ 03.   22. i have nortons and set on highest setting its suprising what cookies it intercepts it gives plenty warnings of other attacks by the back door

See how you get on with that Chesters1 thats exactly what the "rubber" thing looks like ,seems were getting confused with the 507 and the er 507 gold max 2 the latter came onto the market 5??? years ago (after the 1044) hence my annoyance that i can still get all the bits for all previous abu`s but not this one :mad: hopefully the 700 series doesnt have the same rubber band ,i have temporarily got round the problem by fitting an elastic band underneath the doofer thus pushing whats left of the little spikes further out
