  1. Had a phone call today from frimley park hospital ,hi are you attending your CT scan tonight as we haven't received your online questionair which we need to process you. I told them I didn't know a scan was in process (a follow up to my bum camera last week ,it was mentioned by GP she wanted me to have one ) I said the NHS app hadn't alerted me with a notification an appointment had been made .Didn't you get a letter or email from the app .The NHS app ? No she said with a strange laugh our my frimley app !?! Never heard of it I said I only have the evergreen app (the one used by the GP for practice use) and the NHS app why would I need another one ? She said with a laugh all the departments have one . I installed their app and there was the appointment and the form she needed . Anyway I had no way of getting there and back at 9.30 pm the last bus is at 6pm so I had to remake the appointment for next week It seems the NHS is once more not talking to patients but also to themselves ,why so many apps? why not just the NHS one why are departments relying on patients having their app for messages but not mentioning they need it .will our phones soon be full of apps for each department instead of one all encompassing app like the NHS one . Forgot to mention even if you have the evergreen app which used to be used for online consultations (you cannot just get an appointment now) you need another app (which I deleted because it refuses to work on my phone ) to make an appointment to get a time to submit your online consultation which could be days away ,you in essence make a queue to join another queue to send in a form to join the queue in the waiting room if it's deemed by someone you need it The app is called patches the screenshot is from the part of the surgery you used to fill in for an online consultation ,what the hell are old or illiterate (or both) doing ? https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/r9oxw5t8l3t5x8l71k4je/Screenshot_20230928-170218.png?rlkey=bgn3zaqv3qoqbkpnly1l0t17c&dl=0 Your not going to fit all these apps on your big button extra loud home phone it's crazy The surgery is also very clever hiding it's email address making it very difficult to submit all these bloody BP and glucose tests they keep asking for . Annoyingly both evergreen and the surgery have no problem telling me I need 28 COVID and flue shots but making it impossible to message them back ,we can't have these annoying patients disturbing whatever they do today
  2. Been watching this channel ,strange you don't see it on the big four ,good old khan turning my birth place into a third world country https://youtube.com/@londonukstreetnews?si=VUCg64IHJrD5E1Pd Strange the English language has so many xx in the words it's as if some are censored ,spotted one where an immigrant raped a girl and as the father spoke not only was the word RAPE changedin the subtitles the word coming out of his mouth was aswell .Spotted youths using the word " unalived' aswell to get around the censor .
  3. Strange how fish seem to know the opportune moment to take the bait ,rolling a fag ,pouring tea or some mechanical hitch and away they go . Ofcourse the worse time is when you have been sitting biteles for hours and you get a fish on and suddenly the other rod gets a bite and you need three arms and then an hour to pick up all the split shot you were sorting on your lap when it all happened I remember one time my reel was off the rod after one of those terrible sliding screw reel seats of old came loose and ofcourse I got a bite ,how the heck do you reel in with a rod in one hand and the reel in the other ,it felt like nice fish before it snapped the line and buggered off
  4. Unfortunately due to medical problems I am restricted to nearby, places with lots of cover (colostomy arranged for Wednesday hopefully that spots the cause) so stuck with fishless river .But think about it I go through the motions () and blank more than most .Fishing to me is being outside ,catching fish is far down the list .
  5. At least on the stunted trout side I beat you ,the rest you win hands down ! Not sure the EA have left any fish in my stretches
  6. Google is your freind https://www.traditionalfisherman.com/viewtopic.php?t=11756 My experience of selling cane is immaculate untouched complete and by the big names makes money the rest best to support garden plants.
  7. Can't you just catch a stunted trout and lose your favourite float in a snag like normal people? Grrr PS nicely done
  8. The heron will have no problem I have seen one downing a half grown duck and they're not slippery like fish . Is it a crucian? perhaps one of these modern versions going under cover to fool the locals
  9. Poor poor clod repeating the same opinion every day ,look around who agrees with you . Semi Brexit is doing ok full Brexit would be really ok .but idiots like you stopped it and demanded a deal ANY deal with the EU is a BAD deal you prove it everytime you post your opinion (or more like someone else's you hope agrees with you) As for me best life has ever been ,no debt ,plenty of grub and a 1000 channels to watch on TV.Are you so poor you can't afford to buy Indian chicken ? If you prefer the EU move there but hurry it's not got much time left Your Spanish holding are going to be seized to house all that cheap labour you call for if ofcourse the gangs don't grab them first. My advice is fill it with ring cameras then you can chat to Mohamed or Pedro the new residents . Or stay to keep an eye on it but I doubt you can serve up beans on toast to "hundreds of miners" remotely
  10. Brexit never happened you remainers demanded we had a deal and that deal stopped Brexit .if you want to blame something blame yourself for demanding the EU still rule us via that bad deal. Not sure why I respond it's been discussed a hundred times the outcome is there for all to see " any deal with the EU is a bad deal" Brexit was destroyed by remainers and a weak government who refused to obey those that voted out It's all I have to say as I have said the exact same for years and nothing you say or the opinion you post won't change my facts so I will let you talk to your self again bye I don't know why you bother who's ever agreed with you? Just one sad desperate voice all by itself anything you say is as unimportant than it was in 2016
  11. Brexit didn't bugger up the Tories the Tories trying to be labour did.And labour desperately trying not to be anything waiting to see the result before changing their minds 28 times (if they cannot say what a woman is running the country is far above them ) The Tories don't want to get elected and labour won't have anything to pick up the pieces if they do so either people won't bother voting for the trash or a new set of trash will get in .What will happen I don't know but if it has anything to do with the EU we won't come out of it well . PS Brexit didn't happen "any deal with the EU is a bad deal" as I have remarked dozens of times since 2016
  12. Still posting other people's opinion I see nothing changes there ,better here than Germany .watch your precious EU writhing I can hear it's death knell from here
  13. That's great news now our grandkids can get a foot on the ladder ,but I suspect most will be bought by landlords for housing all those cheap labour you keep demanding PS your getting confused by an semi Brexit (any deal is a bad deal) VS a lousy government trying to get ousted so labour get the Hassle, you remember like Brown did when he bankrupted the country paying off the banks ,now paying most of people's wages in COVID bankrupted the country under sunak .Labour will get back in and inherit an empty pot and lots of debt like the Tories did , more debt or labours version of austerity or will they copy the EU by printing millions of notes a month ?
  14. At least they play football rather than goal hanging for set pieces and faking injury for penalties.Time to make it non contact I hate the shirt pulling etc ,need more black cards where twice offenders are banned for a season or two
  15. Parky! I hope he had insurance
  16. You obviously have a story to tell but being on your own isn't a barrier to fishing except for the company aspect ofcourse .
  17. That's why women's feet are smaller than men's so they can get closer to the sink.
  18. Hi nursey glad to see your about .Unfortunately us old guys are dropping like flies .Hopefully the end was peaceful there's nothing much else you can say unless you know them personally .Keep well yourself
  19. Yes forgot that what a guy ,Andy S says he's always been like it
  20. Yup clod is just a Tory in disguise ,second homes abroad ,.loadsamoney the whole ,kit and caboodle .
  21. Yes my youth was spent under bushes Friday and Saturday nights but I do like the taste of beer and cider .Due to my meds I drink sparingly so it's now a treat rather than a norm .A can after cutting the lawn or some other task is about it . I even have tippled alcohol free so long as it's fizzy I even put still cider in the soda stream (used to buy 5 galls of still cider for a weekends fishing with my mate but low lost the taste for still cider) still got 3 boxes from my old neighbour who died 3? Years ago .That would have been drunk over a weekend in my prime . Blimey he croaked in 2020 better see if it's ok or now cider vinegar
  22. Yes yummy but cheap ,probably better than watneys red barrel though (python sketch)
  23.
