  2. All the best for today Billy and GOOD LUCK save the whiskey till after your test
  3. I think this film has been over hyped somewhat, time for the critic to step in, empire mag rated it .5 of a star and voted it worse film ever and were surprised littlefeathers and Mr Feathers even got 'casted'
  4. Does anyone else have real player and do they suscribe to any of the extra bits. We have just found this download and it seems great for movie reviews, UK and USA, chart music, radio etc, but as always to get that extra bit of information there asking you to pay for it - is it worth it
  5. Mr Feathers and I are due to go beach casting on Wednesday/Thursday and I have just remembered my 1st rod eye/ring (cant think what else you call it) has come off my rod. Could someone advise me please whats the best home method of fixing this as I've no time to take it to the shop. I have sticky electrical tape, soldering iron and solder, sellotape, super glue, paper glue, wood glue, glitter, scissors....... etc etc opps can anyone help please. Thanks Mandy.
  6. I am not the healthest or fittest of people and yesterday I think I let half the Bristol/Bath population into this secret. We went on a bike ride yesterday, paul, my 13 year old daughter and 5 friends. I havent seriously rode a bike since I was a child, some 30+ years ago, our route was a round trip of approx 20 miles , it took us 4-5 hours with a lot of stopping/starting (all along a level cycle path) even the slightest hill I struggled to peddle up, on every bump my backside screamed out in agony , my kness throbbed at the slightest bit of pedal pressure and all this pain was on the way there. Cycle.ing home was utter agony , I didnt think I could make it, when we did eventually manage to get home I just completely seized up on the sofa ....... luckily today we have nothing planned so its feet up on the sofa watching a few episodes of 24 on DVD, with the rest of my seized up family. Phew..... thank god thats over. [ 25. August 2003, 10:44 AM: Message edited by: littlefeathers ]
  7. Thanks Alan, there was no need for any pressie, as Kenny Evert would say 'this was all done in the best possible taste'. I honestly didnt mind doing this, and now, am glad I did I will email it to Newt, does he know its coming
  8. If you think it would give others a laugh then we've not got a problem showing the video to our friends on anglers and having them laugh at us, it happens all the time in the real world. I've no idea how to upload it Alan so you can either upload it for me or tell me how to do it my end. Are you sure about this ????????? If any movie scouts out there can see any potential talent then please feel free to contact our agent .......... ALAN T
  9. Alan, I am so pleased you found it funny and it bought a smile to your face. Movie stars we are not and with no make-up artist or hairdresser available you received approx take No 305 and even then we still couldnt control our laughter or the mis-takes. It was a tremendous laugh sending it to you, I also sent a similar one to littleonions. Your cameras are in the post - air mail. Hopefully you will get them sooner rather than later and maybe you and Sonja could send Paul and I a tester. I would recommend anyone with a spare bit of cash to get one of these and share the joys with your families and friends. what a laugh
  10. Sorry to hear that, thank god I passed my test before all this new technology came out as I'd still be trying to pass now  . If its any consolation I failed my bike test 25 years ago, lack of rear observation, probably a good thing as I dont think it would be very practical now riding around on a chopper .
  11. Hi Alan, We use MSN, great for chatting, paul's used it for a web conversation and all the teenagers around here use it. I used to have regular chats with Littleonions on msn but one of her children deleted it and replaced it with another instant chat thingey, now she cant get MSN to work, or is that her excuse for not talking to me
