Hi all i picked up this odd lamp at the dump 2day just because its got a kinda funkyness to it and one like ive never seen. what my prob is,is that i cannot find any details or pictures or age etc etc for this lamp and having no idea what it would have been used for(sea boats/etc) anyone out there who can end my misery it has sherwoods united on one side of the porcellin wick bit along with trademark sound and the otherside has lynlight no2 brittish make and thats it,but on the top of the lamp it has a faint emboss of the words (ever warm and radiator lamp apart from looking rusty it a nice lamp and the mesh inside isnt torn at all and still has it gold colour in most places(windproof maybe)signal lamp?damn its doing my nut!!! hope pics work More pictures here http://photobucket.com/albums/b49/billy500...image&test=test edit note - your link was to the page and couldn't display a picture. Hi all its only when you get your OPTIONS at school when you can sort of pick what subject you want(but if i remember RE was unchuckable(shame) im a blunt bloke and i believe in my own two eyes and so far ive had no evidence to change my views. with this nursery its a sort of good thing as now the people who say ok, may start saying enough is enough i dont like being called white as im a fleashy colour:) theres allways a goal and i think all this crap is all part of some plan to try and mask a country failing its people with some stiff,strong country thats for the people(ummm i think as allways its fat cats and there pockets ) it wont stop and is only getting worse but tbh theres not enough policing to stop you buying/selling hot cross buns etc etc as i bet most dont give a rats ass (raiding the gollywog story being a total joke!! sg

Hi all sorry to hear about his probs(unless he`s happy about it?)but id be supprised if he was:) i feel for the kid only being 14,ive been in a similar situ with an X (basically i did the deed and splits vill kicked in, DOH!!)well she refused to see a doc and basically tuanted me with the possible fatherhood position.(thank god it was nothing (minger(desperate times) i wasnt that young no, but it still scares the same so i feel for him with that but it does take two and both forgot to use protection(unless it split) one mark on the score board for him:)sorry:) not much he can do if he doesnt and she does,ready or not its happening,just hope it wasnt a deliberate benefit score for her and a coushy life on him.(it happens!!!sorry) needs sorting this system its far too easy for a women/girl to get preggers and take the cash, one sided rule which is making it easy!! like the women in the papers a week ago she claimed child allowance for 3 kids(2 being twins)and it wasnt untill she tried it on again saying she was expecting again that she got caught(no kids and no evidence she was having or had any kids etc toooo easy you cannot force abortion but it still has a place (like it or not)rape etc etc elton only boys get srewd for that girls get away with it unless they are teachers,blokes go down river!! rant over sg

Hi all im not common as muck but id be p*ssed if some copper butted into my conversation to book me for swearing. im not of all the facts but if this was just one guy talking to his mate and a copper just happen to hear then maybe he was bunking duty for a quick maccy break like many cops do parked up with a paper in some layby or deserted street. my words would have gone something like"excuse me mate im having a conversation with my mate,so walk!!!" stupid laws and again as useful as banning mobiles from being used whilst driving,or riding on the kerb with your bike which was once consider`d a no no. the law eh im also not a passive swearer but if this was me it would have been much more colourful reaction to this board,timewasting cop. watch soon when the ozone dies and we get all the good stuff from above and the goverments have to build purifing machines for the air,then we will soon see a air key youd have to top up with ya leccy. crap country im ashamed to say and giving the money id be long gone. sg

Hi all emz i get bad chest pains also which can be alarming sometimes so i know what ya feeling, like many of us! but like its been said,your young and fit:)so hopefully its nothing i just hold my pec and wait for it to subside (youch) sod the docs ive not been in years and bleed in silence(stupid yes but thats me) ummmmm they shaved little bald spots in me chest hair,that was painfull to grow back:) i once put a hole in an area on my body(not on purpose)THE VEG!!!! and i was left 4hrs with my keggs down while nurses came over to look, and then walked away grinning. after 4hrs one nurse came over dropped a drip of glue stuff on the hole and told me to get on my way. after that it took 2 days to get movement again:) like i said sod them. sg

Hi all chesters i agree,we didnt see any patrols being slaughter`d by iraq extremists so why are they bothering with these stupid films of a couple of troops having to use GENTLE force to aprehend these throw and run bombers. personally i didnt see a hard right hook in sight,trained you say ummmmmmmmm but tbh it is just a minority that is involved in these stitch up videos and the rest of are boys are well trained try to obide by the rules of war. i second the remark(send the iq deficiant troops back to the football ground) i say pull out and show the rest of the world that even pulling out our troops doesnt stop the bloodshed (here or there)these people want blood and tbh it doesnt matter what we do to please them. they will still want us infidels to suffer for being alive and most importantly for being christian or any other faith other than to follow alah!. just as the war kicked off i had a word with a military recruitment guy and the thing that put me off was the 6months wait(basic training) before id have been shipped over to iraq. too long to wait:( rant over:) sg

Hi all i cannot see ebay going under in the near future. with ebay you get a wider choice(open 24/7) and even on most things a warranty ,which helps,and i for one enjoy having such a massive selection at a click, and no doubt others also love this flexibility which is the key word. ebay may have started from a second hand market but also has gained the ground and is almost captured every corner of the market new or old goods i see your point yoxer,and the shops may suffer but they cannot complain they have had the floor for years but now a new market is open and you dont even need to leave the house for which i assume for some people is a god send. obviously sideling the pitfalls like getting stung etc but hey if your careful this is minimal. things move forward fast and shops have been too slack to see the opening. however it pans out ,we have survived before and evolved. sg

Hi all was over chesters 2day and saw about 50+horses on a hunt in full clobber. thb i didnt even notice they didnt have a dog insight(not one) as ive said before i dont care about the hunt (just the odds) its just they looked just as stupid prancing about clogging the road up, and trying to get horse to go through the river despite the horse not wanting any of it. its just an excuse to hammer about ripping up fields and generally knobbing about neadlessly. foxes like deer need culling ,but christ just scope the buggers instead its faster and fun lamping not that im bother`d how they do it as it keeps the foxes off the bonnet of my car i saw a massive increse of road kill after the ban went out(culling slowed this by allot)now i play dodge the road kill these days poilite hunters though so no probs in that area but the police wernt far(money money) im for hunting and thb these hunts were little reported about untill the namby brigade got in swing, blair needs to stop flaffing and draw the line,we are never going to agree so agree to disagree and no i dont believe in crulty i beleive in quick and painless(if the need was important enough)like culling deer/fox/rats etc etc maybe my dry humour again:) sg
