hi keith, congratulations on your first bass. i used to catch a few from the shore and small boat using crab.i started to catch bigger ones, and much more frequently, when i started lure fishing for them.i found a small red gill eel, on a 2m trace,with a light lead,very effective.just whang it out, and vary the retrieve speed, until you find what works.best of luck mate!

hi everybody, can anybody tell me how to proceed, when the cursor "freezes"on the monitor. there is no response from the mouse or any of the keys on the keyboard. it happens once in a blue moon,but enough to be frustrating! i have win 98, with I.E 6.0, if thats relevant.cheers .

hi elton, not a clue about how many anglers there are in spain, but the two best monthly magazines, are, FEDERPESCA;and FEDERPESCA MAR, the first is mainly freshwater, the second is entirely seafishing.the webmasters name is maria jesus lozano, and the address is www.federpesca.com there are other monthlies, but these are the leaders.any specific information that you need,just ask. i have fluent spanish. cheers. dave. :cool:

hi, are you sure they are palms? they look more like yuccas to me.are the brown points needle sharp?and hard?weve got "shedfulls" of palms growing around us, but ive never seen any like those.cheers dave.

anyway now ive actually got the story where i want it!! i used to live in devon, and there were always lots of stories about the ghostly "hairy hand of dartmoor.apparently, there were many people who used to drive along the roads near princetown, who reported(after they had been home to change their pants) some ghostly hands that used to appear in their cars,many times, steering them off the road.anybody else got any stories? ghost

hi jeeps, just seen something really creepy on our national news. it concerns an old village house in a hamlet, near jaen in southern spain.well, 33 years ago this house was in all the newspapers, and on the t.v, as there appeared all over the floor, images of human faces. they reran the original films on the news tonight, and it was wierd, the faces were so clear. anyway, 33 years ago, they dug up the floor in this house and found it was built over the top of a cemetery, belived to be 13th century.after that they filled it all in and put in a new cement floor. anyway tonight the news has reported that the faces are back again, the same as before!!!they have shown the faces again tonight. ghost :ghost:would you live there? sod that!!! ghost cheers .
