hi im new to carp fishing and im looking for rod and reel combos. ive found 2 x 12'ft 2.5 T/C Ron Thompson Superior Carp rod & 2 x Carp run freespool 50 reel + 2 spare spools (Okuma Exide reels) for £69.99. was wondering if these are any good? and does anybody know of any good combos for around that price

i fish a lake near me for the tench.i feed pellet,hemp and corn and use lobs as bait everytime the bubbles start i always catch.if i see bubbles coming from a feeding tench and random spots in the lake i try casting past bubbles and bring the float over them and it never works. so dont know why i do it every time

my mate ordered 15lb line,weighing scales and sling,unhooking mat,bollies,popups,2 hemp and 2 particles online from bosfish last week thats all he has had is the bollies,popups, 1 hemp and 10lb line not 15lb. he phone them up to see wots going on and he wont get the rest of the stuff untill end of next week. they just lost 2 customers

luncheon meat works great for me. all of my double figure carp have fallen to it 26 of them mind u the biggest is only 14lb so far but the biggest in the lake is only bout 18lb so its not bad

im gonna use boillies for 1st time in 2 weeks. just want to know how long do most of u leave them in the water b4 recasting or changing it?

the bite alarm at 6.99 is the only thing that intrests me

hi im back coarse fishing again as i do sea fishing in winter and coarse in spring/summer. right im off to whelford pools at the begging of may .would like to know if anybody fishes there and if so how etc,etc.any info would be good. im paticarly intrested in the double figure tench thats supposed to be there.

does it matter how the fish got so big ( i think not) unless its been feed up on purpose for the reason of breaking a record but what there should be is records for rivers and records for still waters., oh yeah and about having caught a record by accident like a carp angler catching a record bream not being able to claim the record,wot a load of tosh.and im not a carp angler btw. ive seen this ? b4 and the thing ppl said was to groundbait as if your fishing for small fish roach,etc and the pike will come along

i cant see the problem as long as they dont bring any diseases over and they are not claimed as a british record then why not.

went fishing over the weekend down whitesands off the rocks near st.davids.between 4 of us we caught 16 doggys,2 wrasse,8 rockling,4 dab,1 plaice 7 whiteing and 3 pollack, oh and a small conger so not a bad day at all

any1 know wot the fishing is like there at this time of year? thinking of fishing the rocks down by whitesands

i was 6 on a trout farm with my dad (he sucks at fishing lol) and i have nt stopped since mind u have nt fished for trout since i was 13 coarse fish for me
