  1. If you have hydraulic tappits, which i in did on my audi they can sometimes start to be noisy if your oil is low or old, try an oil change using the best synthetic oil you can. Also £500 sounds a lot of money for the timing belt and a service. I had my wifes toyota camra glxi done by a home tune specialist with full srvice and parts cost under £200. [ 28. October 2004, 12:14 PM: Message edited by: medwaygreen ]

  4. I was going to say at the end of this but got wiped out by some gremlin. Its not where you are or finish that matters, the important thing is how you as an individual judge yourself. Complaining about the type of questions because you are not doing well shows that all that matters is did i win.Well if winning is all that matters to you play five year olds at spelling i am sure you will do well or maybe?  [ 27. 7. Isnt the delight of any QUIZ not knowing what you are going to receive in the way of questions.the fact that this Quiz is so unpredictable is its joy. Why do people moan about 3 one day and 9 the next it shows you that you as an individual are limited in your knowledge, lets use that benchmark to gain more knowledge, not say lets change it so that i may become better. Encourage yourself to become better by searching the unknown and if you enjoy a challenge LEARN<LEARN<LEARN,even if it is about The US OF A After all we did give it to them so we should know something about The great country. OOOO i feel better now. [ 25. October 2004, 01:44 PM: Message edited by: medwaygreen ]

  12. chesters1, Mark has got the best line hear your insurance should have windscreen replacement with a £50 excess, thats the way to go and if you pick the right supplier/replacer you should also get a one or two year guarantee from them in case it happens again. Richard
  13. After 40 years of fishing for everything except Carp,i have taken the plunge. I have kitted up with a pair of outlaws 2.25 TC and okuma interceptors (which by the way impress the hell out of me for the money).Buzz bars on adjustable bank sticks with monkey climbers complete the hardware. Spools loaded with Shogun Lazer 5.6kg at 0.20mm fantastic quality, tested indoors seems a big OK. Now comes the problem how to present the bait and what bait,i have not got a clue. The nearest that i know about is Tench on running ledger and water knot paternoster. One thing to note,i will only use spade end hooks, barbless. Please help if you can.Thank you.Richard PS i like to do things the correct way

  18. The royal Mail web site charges were correct the last time i used them for air mail and overland parcels, but when you weigh the item dont forget to add the packaging material it can make a big difference to the cost.
  19. Any sport or leisure activity that brings together two factions on or in the same amenity does in my expiereance cause friction. The only way forward is to talk about the problems and resolve them one by one. With regard to the unacceptable behavior you listed only one action would stop that LIFE BAN. Good luck Peter and i am sure you will continue to support the agenda of all anglers. [ 22.
