I use braid for spinning, PowerPro 30lb, had it on my spool for about a year and a half, no problems, think I'll get some in the 10lb now for my centrepin, I can always blame you lot if things go awry.

Budgie, I've never used braid on my centrepin, does it roll off the spool as easily as mono?

I guarantee you all that in thirty years time, there will be vigilantes doing the rounds, Think I'll be well gone by then but if I can sort the rabble out from above (or below ) they better watch out.

CJ, tell yer something, some years back, while cuddled up in bed, I felt a small lump in my wife's tummy after asking her about it, she told me she had it for some time, I was gutted, I told her mother and we arranged for her to see a specialist. It took quite a while for the appointment and I feared the worse, I thought my world was falling apart, we had already lost a son, anyway, she was admitted to hospital and so elated for her.... and I, they removed a 4lb cyst the relief from me, never mind my wife was unbelieavable. Chris, I have the Shimano 5000GTE which I love and I have the Okuma Polycast 30 baitrunner type, a recent edition from Okuma, think I paid £34:99p not a bad reel at all, I've had pike to four pound up to now, need to give it a lot more use on bigger fish before fully recommending it.

Corydora I hope that YOU are held incommunicado as a suspect terrorist for three months, then released with no charge. Perhaps then you might change your mind. I have had experience of being imprisoned (for two days) and falsely accused of a crime my friend and I did not commit at the tender age of 17, we were accused of stealing band equipment, ie, drums guitars and speakers etc; at the time we were sleeping on the promenade bench for a week..... Our defence was we could not possibly hide all that equipment in the sand box beside the bench, they didnt see the funny side.
