As far as I am informed....... You cannot change the column names in excel. You can however make a column heading in the first row, select it and go to *window* *split* to divide up the sheet. selecting the break you can move it into the desired place so your column title in a1 b1 c1 etc will always remain on the first line no matter how far you scroll down. Not sure if this will work on your psion though but its worth a go I suppose.

I rode a Montessa Trials in the 1970's, does that make me a vintage? If the answer is yes is there anybody out there who would like to restore me to my formal glory Serioulsy though, I dropped mine and damaged the gear linkage, I took it into my metalwork teacher at school and he heated up the lever with a torch and bent it back into shape no trouble. Not sure that you can 'shorten' it though. Have to remember at that time we rode with big metal bits on the toes and shins of our boots. The gear change was deliberately further away than a 'road bike' and you also had to add an amount of crap and mud. Gear changing down with a tessa was carried out with the heel of your boot, 'kicking' the change rather than selecting a gear to go faster, changing up a gear was usually not so much of a panic action so you had time to get your foot under the lever. Gonna go and find my pictures....................

Just Like the Fire Brigade, Police Force, Armed Forces ad infinitum the amount of 'managers' and 'admin staff' has outstripped the employment of front line services. Very Nice M8ty...... I have seen a lot of pictures in my time, I have personally printed over a million!!! I have printed photographs from all over the Country and from some 'decent' professionals and very good Amateurs (although no household names). Your pictures have a quality and feel for life that few manage to obtain. Keep it up and keep sharing with us

The benchmark to consider in these things is the change that comes about merely from the Internet and the fact that 'chat' is not so much chat as the publication of statement in written form. There is a distinct difference between 'Liable' and 'Slander' and quite simply each can be as offensive to the offended party. 'Liable' is basically an insult in written form, To prove Liable the offended party only has to show that he/she is 'upset' by the publication. The amount of damages is detirmined by the Judge Jury dependent on how much they consider the Insult has been QED Archer. 'Slander' is exactly the same only verbally insulting. To prove Slander the offended party must show, not only that they are offended by the words, but also that due to the verbal insult they have suffered Monetary Loss, either express or inplied. In both cases the offending party has a defence if they can prove that the allegations are true. A lot of people think, as I stated that they are 'chatting' on boards where in actual fact they are 'publishing opinions' It is still best to remember that both liable and slander are roads that should not should not be travelled down unless you have an awful lot of money.
