  1. Dear Chris Thanks for the above post on the situation of when and where the RSSG Annual General Meeting is to take place. I shall be attending the meeting. All that remains now is to await the promised statement from Mr. Ray Wood on the situation regarding the contact Barclays Bank made with him earlier this year concerning the RSSG funds. I would now hope that the RSSG's Treasurer's position can be worked out in the weeks running up to the AGM date so that the funds, which have been effectively 'frozen' in the bank account since Mr. Wood's resignation last year, can be accessed and forwarded to the 'Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children' in London as stated in item 19 of the RSSG's 'Constitution and Rules of the Group'. Once again, my thanks to you Chris for the information posted on this thread. Yours With Respect..... Steve.
  2. Dear Sywell I cannot complain about or praise enough the Aqua Products 60" brolly I bought a year ago.....simply fabulous......the 50" is well big as well. Superbly made....brilliant bit of kit. Yours With Respect..... Steve.
  3. Dear Ken Thanks for the replies so far...... I write as the General Secretary for the National Anguilla Club....only two small points to mention to you...... One.....The National Anguilla Club did NOT get a reply from anyone regarding our long and detailed letter to the NW EA.....never mind an individual response. This I know becasue it was myself and Anthony Jolley, also an NAC committee member, who drew up our response......and both our addresses were at the bottom of our letter and neither of us received any reply.....other than the letter saying 'your response has been noted' letter. Two.....What have the NW EA done so far to protect the present eel stocks in their area?..... and what are they doing to protect the future elver migrations managing to reach their intended targets? Yours With Respect..... Steve. [ 28. November 2002, 06:39 PM: Message edited by: 'eelfisher' ]
  4. Dear Peter Thanks for stepping forward and taking the 'Chair'.....here's to a positive future to the RSSG and the hope that others will also come along and support yourself and Chris in moving this forward. Yours With Respect.... Steve.
  5. Dear Confussed Mail me privately and I will see if I can help you get amongst some nice fish....6lb-9lb range, OK. Yours With Respect..... Steve.
  6. Dear Liam I think that perhaps it is a good idea to explain to those members of the RSSG who have Internet access just how they can access the RSSG members site. It does seem to be a maze for some....certainly, I found it difficult in the first instance to actually gain access until directed by your goodself. I am amazed that the RSSG members site has not received any posts since the rescue package was announced this last Sunday...other than Liam's 'welcome' post. I sat with Chris Goddard, Ian Jobling, Dave Wingfield, Andrew Davies and Dick Dowling at a public house last Saturday morning/afternoon and we discussed with a passion the fact that there were many RSSG members out there who wanted to see the RSSG continue big time. Chris, the new General Secretary, has made a post for mails of help to be sent to him at his e-mail address, this call has been heard and has been responsive and I should like to thank those same individuals for their generous offers of help and support to Chris. It would also be quite sensible for existing members, and new members in the future, to use the RSSG members site as a sounding board for what they would like to see as the way forward.....and to give some encouragement to those people who intend to help Chris take the RSSG forward from this state of re-birth. I would just like to say that I am no longer a moderator on the site...in fact, I never intended to quell any thread or post, no matter what it contained, unless unlawful of course, as my remit as a moderator. I believed that the membership needed to speak straight and honestly in order to progress the RSSG or see it die a death. Thankfully, the latter was averted. The five people who sat with Chris at the meeting heard good news in many forms from Chris's mouth. Chris is a good and decent man and now needs some back up from those who he intends to represent and work on behalf of.....as do the people who intend to come on board with him in the near future. I have no other desire than to see the RSSG succeed...my posts in the future regarding the RSSG, if any, will always remain positive and supportive.....If the desire to non- constructively criticise anyone working for the RSSG arouses in my fingers or my mouth, then I shall remain mute and walk away. I have seen and experienced just what that kind of action has done to others and myself....and for me it has been a seriously harming episode. I have said things that I now regret and for that I am sorry. We ARE all different but we ARE all anglers together....this is something to remember from this point on I think. Lets start to rally behind those who now intend to take things forward.....river anglers need some form of body to work for them, let the RSSG be that body.....get behind Chris and those who are coming to help him, use the RSSG members site to express your views and desires and remember, no one can always do the right thing, at the right time......trying to though, is to be applauded.....not attacked. Yours With Respect..... Steve. [ 06. November 2002, 10:11 PM: Message edited by: 'eelfisher' ]
  7. Dear ALL I would just like to say a big thank you to Liam Smyth who has helped enormously with the cause to keep the RSSG alive. His work in setting up a forum where only RSSG members could access and discuss the future of the RSSG was a nice gesture.....and most welcomed.....thank you Liam. Liam also wrote a superb letter which was presented at the RSSG meeting yesterday and the contents were taken to heart by those who attended and heard his words. In my opinion, Liam is a person whom the future RSSG committee should embrace and utilise....he must have a position within that new committee base. Quite simply, he is just too good to waste.......he should be approached and asked if he will take up some form of active role within the RSSG. I personally hope that everything can be sorted out, now that a decision has been made as to the future path of the RSSG.....River anglers need a voice to speak for them......now is the time for all those who offered their help to contact Chris and make some positive moves forward with him. Lastly, I offer my utmost respect to Chris Goddard, who I had never met until yesterday, and who is a good man. He needs your support now.......please do not let him down. Yours With Respect.... Steve.
  8. Dear ALL (For the attention of the membership of the RSSG and also any concerned parties outside of this structure.) Yesterday, Saturday 2nd November 2002, the RSSG committee held a meeting to discuss the future of the RSSG as an organisation. Initially this meeting held just one item for discussion on its agenda and this was the closing down of the organisation. However, during the time period build up to that meeting being held, several people came out and said that they would like to see the RSSG continue if possible. The remaining committee members welcomed this eleventh hour rescue attempt and promised to try and help whomever to try and obtain this result in whatever way it could. The meeting was attended by Steve Richardson (Vice Chairman), Ian Jobling (Treasurer), Dave Wingfield (Assistant General Secretary), Andrew Davies (Catchment Officer), Dick Dowling (Individual member) and Chris Goddard (Individual member). Steve Ralph (Affiliates Secretary) and Clive Dennison (Environmental and Conservation Co-ordinator) gave apologies for their absence. A long discussion took place between the six individuals present and the decision to allow Chris Goddard to keep the RSSG in existence was agreed upon by all. The remaining Officers of the RSSG used Rule 16 of the Constitution and Rules of the RSSG to Co-opt Chris Goddard onto the RSSG committee. Ian Jobling proposed that Chris Goddard take up the vacant position of General Secretary. This was seconded by Steve Richardson and was carried unanimously. Steve Richardson, Ian Jobling, Dave Wingfield and Steve Ralph (via written instruction before the meeting to Steve Richardson) then stated that they were resigning their positions of Office on the committee so that Chris Goddard could enlist a new committee around him. This gesture was made with the future well being of the RSSG in mind by those Officers. The RSSG has been through difficult times in its first year and it is seen that a new committee will help to take the RSSG onward into the future. Chris Goddard was assured by those named above that he would be supported by them if he needed their help or advice during the coming new era of the RSSG. They also stated that they would be continuing to be individual members of the RSSG. Andrew Davies stated that he would continue on the committee in his position as a Catchment Officer. Chris Goddard has been assured by quite a few individual members, through his poll on a rescue package for the RSSG, that he has considerable support for taking the RSSG on. We would hope that this is indeed the case and that those who have offered help and work to Chris, stand by their word to him on this. The resigning Officers would like to offer Chris their best wishes and hopes for the future of the RSSG. Chris impressed us with his ambition and dedication to the RSSG cause and we wish him much success in his new role as General Secretary for the RSSG. We would hope that you will all give him your 100% support in his new role. We would like to thank the many members who have come forward to offer their help. It was never our intention to dissolve the RSSG if we could avoid it and we are extremely pleased that we have been able to hand over the reins to Chris and keep the RSSG concept alive. The potential for the RSSG is enormous…we hope that with a new committee in place in the coming weeks, that this potential will be realised by a new force taking it forward. Lastly, we would like to thank all those who gave us advice, help and the desire to see this through to this happy conclusion. You know who you are and we will not embarrass you by naming you here. You have our sincerest thanks and respect. On a different note…I shall be writing up the full minutes of yesterdays meeting and, after they have been approved by all six members who attended the meeting, they will be sent out to all the membership of the RSSG in the very near future. This statement was issued and agreed on behalf of those members who attended yesterdays meeting……….the RSSG is now passed over to Chris Goddard.

  10. Dear Neil and other interested parties..... I will be posting a notice later this evening for all to see. (I try for 7.00pm, OK.) There are a couple of things I need to do before then......and a couple of things to clear up. I am sure that having waited this long, you can all allow us a few more hours before issueing a statement for you all to digest. Yours With Respect..... Steve.
  11. An important notice to ALL existing members of the RSSG. The remaining Officers of the RSSG committee have held deliberations over the past few days and have decided to hereby give notice of the calling of an Emergency General Meeting of the membership of the RSSG. The purpose of the EGM will be to discuss the dissolvement of the RSSG as an organisation/group. Only members of the RSSG are entitled to attend this meeting and all members of the RSSG will be notified by Royal Mail in the very near future, via a letter from the RSSG Treasurer. The meeting will take place on Saturday 2nd November 2002. The venue where the meeting is to be held is ‘The Bush’ Public House, Midland Road, Royston, Barnsley, South Yorkshire. This information will also be in the notification letter sent out to all RSSG members By Ian Jobling. The meeting will start at 10.00am prompt and the only topic on the Agenda is the dissolvement of the RSSG. There is no provision within the Rules and Constitution of the RSSG to call such a meeting but it is felt that it is only courteous to hold one. Sandwiches, along with tea/coffee and biscuits will be available at lunchtime. Unfortunately, the cost for these facilities, which will be a pre-paid £5.00 per person, which is required by return of post to Ian Jobling in order to entitle you to access to the refreshments. No monies will be accepted on the day. The reason for this up front payment is due to the RSSG funds being tied up at present due to the resignation of the Chairman, Ray Wood, who was one of two members whose signatures were needed to release monies from the RSSG funds, the other Officer being Mr. Ian Jobling, the RSSG's Treasurer. Could all members wishing to attend please confirm this fact, in writing, to Ian Jobling, by return of post. In the event of you not being able to attend this meeting, the remaining Officers of the RSSG wish to thank you in advance for all your support of the organisation/group. An official RSSG statement will be issued after the meeting has been concluded. It will be posted on both the ‘AnglersNet’ and ‘BFW’ angling Internet sites, the same sites that were used to announce to the angling arena the creation of the RSSG less than one year ago. Issued on behalf of the remaining Officers of the RSSG committee.
  12. Dear David (DCB) A question..... "When did the PR machine of the NAA go into action and proclaim to ALL anglers, on all media levels....television, newspapers, magazines, internet sites.....informing ALL anglers to join one of the six groups already set up, which make up the 'loose structure' of the NAA body, so that THEY ALL could be represented at Goverment level as one united force"? I cannot remember this happening.....maybe I was on holiday.....by the way, how was yours?...pleasant and fishy successful I hope. David, you must stop singing the same old lines each time the NAA is discussed.....surely you would welcome ALL anglers into the ranks of the NAA, so that when you march into meetings with those Goverment officials, you have a presence behind you that may act as a stick to poke these guys into leaving angling alone or, even better, giving us funding to ensure that angling is forever able to look after itself if it comes up against any future attacks. As Chairman of the SAA, you should now be looking at why a paid up member group of the the SAA, the 'Rivers System Support Group', did not receive any notice of the meeting and the minutes of the previous meeting/AGM.....rather than churn out the same old lines of the excuse/barrier you put forward to suggestions. Last question..... "Would you like to see ALL anglers as members of the NAA"? See you at the next meeting. Alan.....I and others have, in the past, praised those people who work for angling...and it has been done on this site as well. I sit in office in the angling arena and come under critical reveiw now and again.....I know what it is like at the sharp end...when it is good, not many say so...and when it is bad, every man and his dog comes out of the woodwork.....all those guys/gals who work for angling will say that this comes with the territory and we still continue to put ourselves in the firing line....maybe we're all barmy!!! I think your post is short-sighted and nothing but a supportive arm for those with whom you sat with on Sunday.....serious question here....."Do you think that the present structure, and remember that Bruno said that there was 'no structure within the NAA', of the NAA is the right vehicle that represents ALL anglers"? The truth is that it only represents those members of the six groups presently making up the 'loose structure' of the NAA.....and now and again it does not represent those as it does not consult with its memberships on very important or sensitive issues. Clearly, you are a staunch supporter of the SAA concept.....thats good to see, considering that you are a game angler and probably come into the NAA as a S&T man as well. Both you and David should now re-read this thread and your comments and see how you come across to a public who want to join the concept of a unified anglers voice. Yours With Respect.... Steve. PS....No attack has taken place on any individual in this reply....only the manner in which the NAA is seen to be not keen to encompass more anglers into its ranks.
  13. Dear Inspector Cluedo Interesting as you think your post is...you are somewhat off the track in thinking that it is anyone elses job of informing other SAA group members of when SAA meetings are held. Alan Roe stated when the next round of vying for sweeties was going to take place but that was all. He didn't send the RSSG or the National Anguilla Club either a copy of the minutes of the last meeting/AGM or the agenda to go with the notice for this weekends meeting....thats not his job....infact he ain't got a job in the SAA other than being a supporter of the organisation....this role is the responsibility of the Secretary of the SAA, one Mr. Mike Heylin. Now before you jump up and down with more inspecting of previous posts and come up with the line that the NAC are not members of the SAA, I can tell you that myself and Chris Burt (quite a high flying official of the SAA and a likeable young man on occassions) spoke on the phone a few weeks ago and I told him that he could count on the NAC re-joining the SAA because in the end we all need to be together in 'our' fight against future attacks on angling. I could give that assurance because I am the General Secretary of the NAC and know what my fellow committee members think on issues like this, due to the fact that we ALL discuss and decide important decisions which could affect our position in the political arena. The NAC membership expects us to be able to make these decisions and are fully informed at either of our two meetings per year and via the minutes of all committee meetings, whatever the subject matter. Given that the SAA, or at least Chris Burt did, welcomed our return to the ranks.....which I said would be ratified at our committee meeting this past Saturday, 7th September 2002,......it is strange that we did not receive any info or minutes of the last meeting/AGM of the SAA or the meetings notice letter and the agenda for the day. Mike may be covered here in the fact that Chris Burt may not have passed on the info to either his Membership Secretary or the General Secretary but, fortunately, that is not my problem...it is an internal SAA one......either way, we missed one of the most important meetings to date with the opportunity to discuss the livebait/course deadbait ban in the NorthWest lakes area and the way forward.....mind you, no real change there then, we are only a group within the structure of the SAA...and a group that at present sees the SAA as not quite in tune with its membership.....a membership which they are, on occassions, guilty of not hearing when the words are not in tune with theirs. I am also a committee member of the RSSG and a regular attender of SAA meetings and am also concerned that the RSSG did not get any info on the meeting or have not received any details of minutes or agenda's for the day. I have to say that recently Lee and myself have been quite critical of the SAA and the NAA in posts on this site but would not for a minute imagine that the NAC and the RSSG not receiveing any information is connected to the fact that Lee and I are also General Secretaries of both those organisations....that is just a coincidence, so we'll hear no more about it. Tonight I have had to exercise my concerns again to the SAA regarding the treatment of our, the NAC's, SAA representative, who is also their NorthWest R.O. as well, I might add.....unfortunately, some things do not change as quickly as we might like....but we ARE trying to make headway under the banner of unity. Regards Lee's call for individual membership of the NAA and thus making it an organisation which can truely state that it represents ALL angling bodies...I see no reason that this cannot come to pass, other than then the 'proclaimed leaders' would have to under-go the action of writing up a constitution and be voted into position and thus be beholdent to its membership....ie: when universal or direction changing decisions are made, they are then accountble for their decision making.....unlike now. I say YES to individual membership of the NAA.....ALL anglers under one banner, speaking with one voice, arm in arm with brother/sister anglers.....how listened to would we be then?????.....a shade more than now I would like to think. So inspector Cluedo.....inspect your cupboard...there maybe a China-man waiting to jump on your head instead of me next time. Yours With Respect.... Steve. PS...I too say 'thank you' to Kate for speaking 'truth'......if these politicians do not, then we are really doomed.....maybe we should be making her President of the NAA.
  14. Dear Anthony These rods are too good for you....whats going on?..Are you becoming an angler with a sense of 'Tackle Tart' about you? Brilliant to have spent the time with you up in darkest Lancashire over the weekend with the rest of the National Anguilla Club committee lads...... Hope I watched the car well enough for you my friend. Yours With respect..... Steve. [ 08. September 2002, 06:18 PM: Message edited by: 'eelfisher' ]
  15. Dear Alan How nice to see you back posting.....are you now the spokesperson for the NAA????.....My, you do get about. Right then folks......lets just leave it at that then and sleep tight knowing that informing the many posters on here who would like to know more about the structure and working mechanism's of the NAA.....Working for us all.....is not worth the time or possible PR for the NAA guys. (Although I am not sure that Alan's remarks are a valid voicing for the NAA.) I'd like to say keep up the good work....but then you would all laugh at me. Alan, thanks for coming in and easing our unsure minds as to how and what the NAA is all about. It always seems like you come in to fend off any questions and then say that it is not meant to offend or be evasive.....the trouble is, it always is just that....evasive, I mean. (I also find it insulting to 'our' intelligence...but please do not be put out by that!) To end on a more pleasant note..... Yours With Respect..... Steve.
  16. Dear Peter.....and everyone else This NAA lot are not awe inspiring are they as our governing body....they cannot even answer a few questions...... Back to the top for another try. Yours With Respect.... Steve.
  17. Dear All Just thought this should come back to the top just in case those who operate in the NAA forget to come along and answer the stated questions. I should imagine That when the 'mists clear' our own reliable Bruno will come in and post the said answers for all those out there who are wanting to know what the NAA is all about and who each of the six are and what their remit is....and then tell us who the NAA spokesperson on all of our (anglers) behalves is....please. Yours With Respect.......... Steve.
  18. Dear Steve Not posting to make waves but....Bruno said that the NAA was 'made up' of six bodies.....and so the SAA are not affilates to the NAA they are one sixth part of it. Obviously, SAA were given the remit of dealing with the N/W EA problems because it was to do with specialist anglers.....however, as Bruno says, it would have probably been better for someone to have seen the bigger picture and the NAA had taken ultimate control of it. However, that gives us a problem, because the obvious line of thought from the above is "If the NAA is made up from six different organisations.....then in essence, the NAA is not a WHO but a WHAT." (So who is the leader/spokesperson for the NAA?) Would someone who is involved in the NAA please name the six organisations and explain their positions within the framework of the NAA.....just for the folks on here to get in their heads and especially as they represent 'US' to goverment....('Us' being anglers.) Yours With Respect.... Steve.
  19. Dear Andy No.1...(the thread poster) Hope my comments didn't come over as if I were talking to you Re: pike fishing....I thought that you might be looking at the wider picture of pike welfare in the area of hooking in the best possible place...ie: the mouth and not in the gut. I just thought that my words of comment would be read by others out there who probably do use several hook systems and also wait til their coffee/tea/ciggie is finished before hitting the run.....and who may have thought hair-rigs, they might give me some more time to get to the rods!!! Understood that you were fine in all areas....sorry if this didn't come about with my post. Nice one to expand on with others views being added....lets see what comes shall we. Andy No.2....I lip hook all my lives when piking...keeps them alive longer.....natural presentation in rivers and a good position to draw them back to you when retrieving. Like wise, hook coarse deads in same manner when sink and drawing....with a couple of swan shot on the wire trace near the mouth to add some wobble to the retrieve. Deads.....hooked in the tail root but only slightly if not casting far...if a cast is required....ie: far bank of the relief channel, Great Ouse river, large gravel pit (Not so much nowadays).....I do the same but find the better holding spot in the flesh for the hook. One reason for the type of hook, and size, is the large gap the hook has , so when the strike is made, the point is clear to take hold, if the hook doesn't leave the bait. I believe that indication is a far more important aspect to preventing deep hooked pike than rigs.....and the obvious "I have all day to hit this run" or "I shall leave it a shade longer, its my only run of the day and I don't want to miss it" scenario's. Once again, sorry if any offence was taken with my reply to you Andy No.1......none was meant. Yours With Respect..... Steve. [ 09. August 2002, 04:44 PM: Message edited by: 'eelfisher' ]
  20. Dear ALL Been pike fishing for a few years now....many years infact, for one so young....and have used trebles in two's, trebles on their own and VB's and singels in tandem and on their own.......that was many many years ago now....I have only used singles for my pike fishing, Drennan Boiliee hooks in size one, for ages/years now. Deadbaits...sea and coarse.....and livebaits....rivers, fen drains, lakes, ponds, gravel pits...the Lake District (not no more unfortunately).......never had a problem with using one single only.......the majority of runs converted to lip (scissor) hooked pike....those not hit in the scissor's were hooked in the mouth.....odd river pike has taken bait so quickly and been big enough to have hook in front throat area a few times (But river pike and livebaits brings about many fish and exciting, fast, engulfing takes)...those missed on instant strikes have always been seen by myself as one of those things....and not many of them either really. Never seen the reason for hair-rigs for pike.....obviously I know about shy feeding pike...I have done a bit of piking....but always resort to fishing in the dark, or just before dawn, if the venue is a lake/pond/gravel pit. Not had too many instances of shy pike because I fish for river pike exclusively now, as they are much more entralling targets.....for a start they fight a bit....(Lake District pike excluded in this comparison, OK)....when I have found them to be shy feeders.....fishing different times (into and out of darkness...dawn /dusk) has always come up trumps. I have never slept whilst darkness piking.....now that is bad practice...hair or not. Consider why you need to consider the hair and then re-evaluate your tactics or change the venue until the pike have been left alone for a while. Hope my comments have installed some confidence in only using singles....and always a wire trace....and always use large forcepts...and have a glove with you if you are not ultra confident (I am but I STILL use a glove....just incase the fish decides to do something you are not prepared for.).....and in rivers, always apply the same rule for pike as you would for barbel....let them recover and release them when they are strong. On the other hand....try the hair and see how you go......all that twaddling about in the cold though is time wasted when you could be catching pike....and messy on a hand that will be noshing some sarnies later in the day. You could tie them all up at home but I suggest either going to the pub for a pint or making the missus happy with those working fingers....there are always shelves to be put up or walls to be painted....better still, stick to the pub. Enjoy your predator fishing.....whilst WE can. Yours With Respect..... Steve.
  21. Dear ALL At the start to this thread I called for the NAA to get up and do something....bugger all has come about as yet....not even a 'press-release' deploring the actions of the N/W EA. However, I am assured they are out there somewhere, on all of our behalf's. ......And when the mists clear, what will we see standing in the clearing opposite the attackers of our sport called angling.....Zilch, nadder, nothing...those who were there, so we were told, will be sitting in the CA in nice paid jobs and thinking of other things. I hope not. Yours With Respect......and still hoping Steve. PS...Thought I should add some of these [ 06. August 2002, 10:12 PM: Message edited by: 'eelfisher' ]
  22. Dear Scott and others.... What Next??? Well, at least we have a press release sent out from the SAA......NONE from the NAA though, which is a great shame as they are suposed to represent all angling. I received mine last night via e-mail from Chris...which was blind carbon copied, so I do not know who got the mail as well.....But obviously the PAC did. (I haven't replied to this press release because I do not know who the hell I am sending the comments to in the loop!!!!) I shall be constructive here in the fact that I am only saying what I see..... and I am not going to start informing people how to do things in my usual manner.....I am gonna try to be slightly less sharp. Three things stand out in the press release to anyone reading it. One....that the SAA drew up a press release via consultation with the predator groups....not sure if this happened though....the NAC may not have been privvy to that course of action due to not yet having renewed its subscriptions with the SAA to date....but I never heard anything within my activities in the Eel Conservation Society, who are in the SAA organisation. However, at least the SAA have come about ship quickly and have sent out their concerns over the loss to predator anglers and angling in general....because be real here, it is a wedge in angling and one day it will spread. Two.....More worrying is the wording in the first paragraph. It would seem that whomever it was that held talks or fronted up the opposition to the proposed ban by the N/W EA was happy to play one ban against another. The National Anguilla Club and the Eel Conservation Society did not know that we were hoping for the proposed deadbait ban to be thrown back to us, the predator groups/anglers, as a gift in return for the N/W EA getting the livebait ban enforced. That may not have been how it actually was, but the wording certainly suggests that it was held in the minds of those who acted on behalf of all predator anglers in this fight against these proposed bans. Chris may well have worded this press release without realising just how it would read to the angler who didn't draft it...and if that is so, then its a mistake we shall have to live with.....another one by us on the angling side of angling politics.....certainly there are two sides to the political angling arena, one who wishes to pursue fishing without any restrictions to anyones styles and those who seem to be jumping before PETA attacks us, by either giving or taking concessions away from the political war that may come one day. It is starting to look like some out there...the EA and other 'so called' anglers...are looking to promote a "Look we've cleaned up angling a bit to help you swallow the pill a bit better....will you now leave us alone"???????? Three....The ban is now actually LIVE and COURSE DEADBAITS Chris, not just Lives. Lastly, I pray to God that I am wrong and I am coming back here in the future to apologise to everyone for my misguided 'seer-ism'. Back to Scott's question.....What next??? Yours With Respect..... Steve. [ 06. August 2002, 09:58 PM: Message edited by: 'eelfisher' ]
  23. Dear Newt I feel that you have managed to 'nutshell' our problems over here.....mind you, in your other many posts on this site the majority have contained much sense...those that have not have been purely humorous. I would hope many reading your post will allow the light in to their minds....and ponder our future moves. Yours With Respect..... Steve.
  24. Dear David Fancy them calling you fat....the swines. Yours With Respect..... Steve. Vice Chairman for the RSSG.
  25. Dear Phil Thanks for that....much appreciated. Yours With Respect..... Steve.
