  1. 6eggs 500grams mainline maple8 base mix 15grams grated belachan 8ml maple activator 15mm bio serium simple mix easy to roll and catches loads
  2. why 60yards out????????? wish it was as easy as that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! try finding the fish and if that fails try find some features with a maker rod and don't over complicate the bait.......
  3. typical baitboat user using them as a toy.......thats why they banned from most waters now cos people can't use them properly
  4. flat pear on a lead clip won't sink too far into silt avoid stiff hooklinks as potential to stick up out of bottom.....long supple will be best with a wafter as hookbait should settle nice on top of silt.....or jus use a choddy
  5. chapel boating lake jus down road carp to mid 30 and cats to 50plus.......also got richmond lakes at lincoln carp to mid 30 again but with loads of 20s jus find the fiah and chuck bags at em
  6. i soak mine for 24hr then simmer for 20mins....i like mine to go really soft so it balls up fish go mad for the stuff
  7. 55.11 my pb but my fav capture has to be a 29.4 i had last year.....blanked for 19 nights then spent 2 weeks pre baitin a small hole in the marginal weed before i stalked the 29 on a float with a single grain of corn sat watchin it feeding for 6 hours untill it sampled my hook bait.....
  8. cc moore all quality stuff won't get any better
  9. i've got baits that have been soaking for up to 3years......catches a few bonus fish in winter
  10. can only be one thing and that is the hair rig....if it wasn't for lenny middleton and kev madocks we'd all still be sidehooking our baits.....stuff such as bait boats and buzzers are just luxurys but we could get by without them....i don't think anything will change carp fishing like the hair rig did
  11. best to bag it up an store it in the freezer mate......will last a few days out of it but would't keep it out for more than 2weeks
  12. cracking fish dude........club water around lincoln didn't know ther was any...
  13. any one seen or used the ready tied chod rigs korda are doing????? to put it bluntly if you ave got some send em back the rubbers are way 2 tight if you was to get cracked off the fish would never be able to shed the leader totally unsafe!!!! i think korda stuff is the dogs balls but sorry guys you slipped up with this one....a few of my local shops refuse to sell them now.....and wot makes it worse is every time we speak to korda they jus say ther is no problem.....normally a quality company but you ave let yourselves down....they is even banned on 4 syndicates that i kno of round ere!!!! anyone else had any probs with them
  14. bucket....couple of carrier bags......some bog roll and some baby wipes....thats all you need!!!! or do wot i do don't go for a couple of days.....can't beleive i talkin bout turds!!!!!!
  15. awesom little tip is not to coat em but make a pot of tea then put it in a bucket with the tea bags still in then drop your freshly made leads in ther leave em for a week a then ave a look at em.....trust me you'll be impressed!!!! a mate of mine put me on to this a few years ago an i aint looked back since
  16. i'd try a rovin single on a choddy for one rod then a bag on the second rod and spread a few boilies (50or60) around the 3rd rod......not too tight a bed of bait as you want the fish movin....if you start to get a few pick ups then you can put in a little more bait
  17. i'd go 4 a choddy rig mate....small 2" curved hooklink with the smallest hook you can get away with....then tie on a 10mm jacko pop....pukka for singles and can chuck it on pretty much any bottom
  18. one of the waters i fish we get plagued wiv bream and tench....but the activity of these often brings in the carp.....i've been baiting heavy with hemp maples an pigeon conditioner wiv a few handfulls of chopped boilies in ther then fishing 4 maple peas on the hair balanced with a small cork ball yes i do get nuicence fish but i always know that the carp will follow and move in to see wot the activity is....and normally a big hit can be on the cards!!! also catching these fish proves your rigs are working pukka ect!!!
  19. gotta agree with budgie again on this (sorry chap) when i'm doing a nite i never really sleep like you say jus cat nap but a single bleep an i'll be hoverin over the rod in seconds...i hate seein bivys zipped up as this means more time to get to the rod....i always use a brolly an never have my bag zipped up jus a bag and a bag cover does the job!!!! doing this you can be out in seconds!!!! but yes i admit i use a remote!!!!!! but only on busy waters wher i don't want any one around me knowing i'm getting action....so buzzers off an remote on lowest setting hung from a rib in brolly....helps keep the swim poachers at bay!!!!
  20. sorry but gotta dissagree with this......jus gotta look at one of our syndicate lakes which has had a established stock for many years and most fish used to be about 23-25lb all looking old and battered...... but since the introduction of the more members all putting high quality bait in, the fish are now in the 30-35lb bracket and all look healither then they ever have....like i've said before if you was to eat strawberry flavoured sweets every day that are full of preservitives ect you would feel pretty crap....wheras if you was to eat fresh strawberrys every day you would feel pukka....thats how i see the fresh verses shelf life argument
  21. got given a few samples of the stuff....and to be honest gave them a sniff on fort they smelt a bit like cat wee......2 or 3 of us all fort the same...totally serious...CAT WEE!!!! nice to hear about the result mite b worth a crack on our local bag up water
  22. i'd say its too stiff if its the amnesia i'm thinkin of!!!!!! i'd much rather spend my money on a purpose made leader for spodding....personally i use the korda xtra tough leaders...awesom
  23. at last another thing we agree on.........
  24. i'll always use barbed wher possible...some waters even ban barbless now...the only time i'd advise a barbless is if some1 isn't confident unhooking a fish with a barbed hook!!!! most day ticket waters around me are barbless only and the fishes mouths are ripped to shreds......wher as you can go look on any syndicate lake wher 99% of the anglers use barbed hooks the mouths are pukka...infact in one syndicate water i fish, all the fish still have ther curtians which just goes to show how little damage barbed hooks cause if used correctly....we have had this disscussion alot of times on the bank and we always agree that barbless hooks move around during the fight and makes a bigger hole plus even comes out and re hooks itself....but with a barbed hook it will not move at all and if unhooked correctly only leaves a little red dot...just check how little damage ther is on this fish....caught at 130yards 4.5oz lead and a long shank hook!!!! it also weeded up solid twice during the fight.....just proves barbed cause little damage!!!!
  25. suffix stealth skin....black coating with black braid inner
