  1. Bit of mucking around, but this is all just basic cloning and I'm really bored with it now. (note Steves coke can)
  2. This is the best I can do so far, but not exactly what I wanted so still working on it. Finding a hooker in that classic leg up pose was harder than I thought it would be, I only found a cartoon of one.
  3. Thanks for that Peter. No I'm happy to stick with the Paint Shop Pro as long as I can still make use of and learn from the advice and examples that are given in the games. At the moment what I want to do with this photo is turn it to a night sky, add a few lights in the windows, turn the street light to a glowing red and stick a hooker underneath it with her leg up against the wall. Now I know how to do the last part, but the rest is a challenge. Please don't do it for me, and I will certainly look at the link you have provided, thanks for that, but any help anyone wants to dish out would be gratefully received. Thanks.
  4. Might be the way to go for me too, the easiest way to learn is to have someone leaning over your shoulder telling you what to do or sitting next to you on another puter.
  5. Wow, that is close to your front door, seems like a high traffic area and it doesn't look all that sturdilly attached either, do you think they could be first time parents?
  6. Have loved that word plethora since hearing it on the Three Amigos. Rabster, how do you do it?
  7. That is uncanny Newt, I wanted to turn the sky to night, put a few lights on in the windows, turn the street light red and stick a hooker underneath it leaning against the corner of the building. But all too hard for me. Still trying though.
  8. What a piker that HB is. Wanted to learn something new in one night and put himself under too much pressure. I certainly hope to learn something new before the next one too but for now, more of the same I'm afraid. Very basic cloning. Over to you John.
  9. Oh Wow, would like to see it before the PhotoShop edit on the other side. I was wondering HOW much they had been altered.
  10. Mine went from July 5th, 2019 aged 59 at my current weight of 171lbs and mode of pessimistic, but if I lose 30lbs and change my attitude to optimistic I will live till Oct 18th, 2059 aged 99!!!!! However, if you don't change anything but just click on it again, the date changes every time.
  11. Mmmmm, just going by the news story, it seems like there was no mistreatment of this woman per se other than her husband falling in love with her neice who he did not take up with until well after the marriage had ended. While I can understand that people with more religious upbringings than us Westerners might find that shocking and punishable by death, they were living in a Western Society and that behaviour, while certainly considered caddish by some, is quite acceptable. I don't think she should have been shown any leniency and I can't see why it was considered manslaughter and not murder.
  12. I really like didis Nipper, she looks like a Nipper to me.
  13. I know I shouldn't comment at all here because I know nothing about it, but two thoughts have come to mind. Firstly, The socceroos have not played in the World Cup for over 30 years, nobody expected them to get too far, not even the pure bred Aussies, if they were honest. And I don't remember any Lebanese involvement but certainly other dual nationality people living in OZ were very supportive. Plus as fas as John Howard goes, in the most basic and simple terms, not totally in relation to what has been said here. I see a man who only wants to crawl up Bushs bum and gain whatever he can from that alliance at the expense of Australias relationship with any other country that Bush doesn't like. And Howard acts like Australia is his big block of chocolate that he does not want to share. I think his attitude is almost as antiquated as that of Pauline Hansons. I have no opinion about the Muslim society, except that no matter how extreme their religious beliefs, we can't change them, it has been going on for thousands of years and we all know that the War to end all Wars will be a Religious one and it really has nothing to do with us. While Aussies overseas may be exposed to some threat, this country is probably one of the safest places to be, and I don't think Howard is helping matters by making it so clear that he sees Muslims as the enemy.
  14. Unbelievable, I can see them now. I thought they were just downloading really slowly perhaps, but the egg timer would go off and still nothing. Must be my connection. Wonder if others who couldn't see them can see them now. Beautiful photos Jaybee. I was looking through my BIRD folder, all the photos apart from your kingfishers I got off the Photo of the Day thread. Last time I saved them all I put the photographers name with them but after losing all our files when the pc blew up (we never did get the hard drive going again), I wanted to save them all again and with 43 pages it took me 8 hours without renaming them all so I was just wondering, is this one of yours?
  15. (taken from another thread) Peter, I am very very new at this, and dying to learn to do more things, esp use layers. So far all I have managed to do is use the clone tool as on both the Editing games where I added a dog and an eagle but I would really like to try something different next time. I don't know what the Adobe PhotoShop program looks like or how different it is to PaintShop Pro, (we have number 9 with an instruction book for number 7 but I hate refering to books, they just confuse me further). What I want to ask you before I drive myself crazy is, can I follow the examples and instructions that have been given in the Editing games while using the Paint Shop Pro 9 program? Or are they too different? Cheers, Tracy.
  16. This is pretty frustrating, HB didn't look into it last night because they were all there and I only got to see them briefly as we were on our way to bed. Oh well.
  17. What an awesome photo, did you take that Wiggles? Darn, HB won't be home for another 10 hours, can I go first? Just kidding. Whats happened to Julia, Judy and Cory? Okay, better put my thinking cap on, tick tick tick.
  18. Well I asked HB to have a look last night (about 14 hours ago) and he said, "I don't know what you are talking about, I can see them fine." After looking twice a day ever since they were posted, this was the first time the photos were visible to me. I figured Jaybee might have sorted the problem out at his end somehow. I get on this morning and they are gone again, except for the photo of the hide which I assume might be the only photo that you do not have on your website. Seeing as how it does seem to be happening to other people as well, I no longer think it is a problem with my pc. Thankfully I had saved all your other kingfisher photos to my files but I didn't get these ones.
  19. Hi Mr Wriggly, are you ready to start the next one? Great job everyone. Can't wait to be able to do more than just clone stuff.
  20. Look forward to seeing your photos Snatcher. My first thought though when reading your post was 'I hope he doesn't get sand and/or dust in his camera like we did from taking it out onto the beach and into the bad weather'. Now I know that this is a fishing site and almost every one who enters these comps besides me probably first bought their cameras in order to photograph fish. And I certainly would not have had the opportunity to join this great site and post photos because my partner HB had no interest in Photography at all until he started dreaming of catching that elusive giant Mulloway and capturing it to share/brag with his mates. Our camera is only a cheapy I guess, we paid $300 for it on ebay, $600 retail, a Sony DSC P100, but it is so full of '****' now it is practically unusable for the Comps. We took some shots of Koalas for the Wildlife Comp but we couldn't zoom in on them because the sky had big black spots all over it. The frustrating thing is that even if we had the cash to buy a new camera, HB would want to take it straight to the beach and I would want him to use the old camera for his fish shots and keep the new camera for the Comps and other uses Does anyone else have this problem with sand or dust or use two different cameras for this reason? I know I would be terrified to pay a lot of money for a really good camera and then risk it getting dirt in it. I am only guessing that the English are possibly more into lake and river fishing or boat fishing than beach fishing which is all HB does but I'm sure it is still an issue for most of you, you still have bad weather and dust.
  21. Good Luck with sorting that out Jan, it sounds like a nightmare. Sorry I can't be of any help.
  22. WOW, that picture really tells a story now, I hope those guys in the boat aren't doing anything illegal like stealing eagle eggs or something because GOD IS WATCHING YOU! What an EPIC.
  23. Well I have been looking in your website which is just brilliant by the way but I can still see all your kingfishers in the other threads and all your sports photos etc, so if they are coming from your website too, then no. Is it 8:41 or 9:41 over there, I noticed my last post says 8:25 but your quote of my post says 9:25. Actually they are all gone now so will go to your website and see what can be done.
  24. Your turn Steve, can't wait to see what you have to offer. What is that circle in the middle of the picture?
  25. Nup, didn't work, will get HB to look at it.
