What Fishing Item Did You Last Buy?

The last item I bought and it was from ebay was:

300265419328

However when it arrived it was not a fox rest, but a Korum one! And the korum one is huge by comparision and has some mechanism to angle the rest? I'm not that sure its a very good piece of kit, the fox river rest are superb!

Anyway I will see what I make of it this weekend.

That's a canny idea, that rod-rest, Simon. Funny how some of the best ideas in angling are the simplest.

Anything to make my life easier! In all honesty if anyone is looking for a simple, small and light rest for a bank stick for any type of river fishing these work, I've even used it for Barbel in flood conditions as you can push the rod down into the rest to secure it.

I sound like a fox salesman! At 2.99 I'm considering buying another one, but dont think I need more than 2!

The last thing I bought was a Okuma Sheffield Centrepin but I can't use it yet as it is a christmas present from my missus.

The last thing I bought for myself and have used was some hooks ('size 12 & 14 Korum Quickstop hooks' and some 'size 8 Fox Teflon Arma Point SSBP short shank hooks')

A Fred Crouch centrepin. Had some issues with the first reel so it went back but all sorted out very quickly by Fred. Haven't had a chance to get out and use the second one yet but it seems to run well in the living room.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

I think the last thing i bought was 2 Fox MMXR Bit alarms which was quite a while ago, unless u counting the small things like packs of hooks and line. Oh and i bought one of them Penrod extreme things off of the net just to see what their about, Good little rod really concidering it folds up big enough to go in ur pocket lol, no good for big big fish though pull in a 8-10lb fish but nothing bigger.

Lord, help me to catch fish so large this season, that talking of them afterwards, I have no need to lie.
