LOL, Andy, Look what I found in a brown paper bag the wife gave me , after a trip to the bingo in Alloa start of December.......£3,140 !!!

You'll probably find that it's the equivalent of £3.50 in 'real' English pounds.

here you go elton. i believe the battiers are nearing the end of their life as it was brighter this morning

 

 

nice find norrie, probably belonged to a drug dealer... being in a broon paper bag n all. reminds me of the time i found £120 in fake 20's some grass, ecstasy, and either pure ecstasy or speed in one of our properties after he done a runner happy days.....

LOL, Welllllll, its actually taking us to foreign parts, so, unless you can get a week in Tunisia, all incl, for 4, in a 5 star hotel for £3.50...its worth lots more..:) and its also "pocket" spending money......things like trips to the Sahara, Carthage ,Boat hire for a fishing trip...etc etc will do a wee report on our return..

 

BTW, We leave on Sunday PM..thats if the plane can get off the ground..

I think that there may be a certain irony in there, given the impending collapse of the good old British Pound.

 

This time next year a Tunisian will be able to pay a 5 star visit to England for the equivalent of what a pint of beer costs in Dinars!

PS. Sterling will always have a value, though. We'll have to have something to feed the woodburner........... to keep us from freezing to death.
