Thats an old video, this model has been around for a couple of years and there were many previous models going back to the '60's (used in Vietnam).

Apparently they have very limited use in general combat because of range limitations, but are good for close quarters jungle fighting and clearing buildings.

Actually, this version is fairly new. It was featured at a hands-on trade show in 2005 as one of their 'new weapon' offerings.

Oddly enough (and it has to be a coincidence), Moyock NC is only a few miles from what was a classified CIA traning area. I won't say exactly who they were training but but live goats to be cooked over an open fire were provided as a routine part of the rations for quite a few non-CIA groups - so they could have familiar food while being trained. These groups were flown in on aircraft with blacked-out windows, landed at the camp, trained, and flown back out of the country.

I can't say for sure the camp is still in operation but I have no reason to believe it isn't.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
