Good shout, you do look like Peter Ebdon Julian. You certainly had the carp Cue'ing up & chalked up some beauties. You left Elton needing snookers, still, at least he enjoyed the break.

To be honest, I wouldn't have caught those fish, anyway.

 

I made two mistakes:

 

1. Having spotted loads of fish before Julian arrived, I fished towards them continually.

 

2. I was lazy and didn't change my tactics.

Bingo; the feature finding was done with a marker set up and then dragging through with a normal rod and lead. I’m about halfway through an article about watercraft which will explain how to set up for feature finding, etc. Should be up in the articles section in the next week or so.

Yes Watercraft, Possibly the best weapon in your armoury, Once learned opens a whole new outlook in your fishing. One hell of alot of patience required but undoubtedley worth the effort.

hello well done my days fishing. cant show you the photo's because i had the same luck as elton. but my two pal's caught some nice carp between them the annoying part was we all used the same boily's MINE rained all day so im spending to-day cleaning all the muck & mud off my gear.

well i did say it were cold up t north lol (nexedt time) :confused:
