Hi Tom, it is very difficult to put in to words, tried to find the insructions in the garage but couldnt so I have done a bit of a diagram here

I know the words have shrunk in the upload but the diagram should give you a good idea. the best thing to do is ask at your tackle shop. they should be able to help you.

Yes, I bought one too and had trouble with it at first. I don't think it would be easy to improve on the instructions that come with it - other than getting someone who knows how to use it to demonstrate. All I'd say is follow the instructions EXACTLY. It took me a few goes before the penny finally dropped. The instructions are actually pretty good.

Would not be without one when using small spade ended hooks.

Use the instructions set out by Anthony78 and practice you will soon get the hang of it.

I use one all the time and i must admit it can be a tadge difficult to use if you have never used one before.

Best having someone show you who knows how to use one.
