Indeed, well done to everyone! I loved the winning picture - the colours were outstanding. Really made you want to be there...

 

My particular favourites were "Gone with the wind" and "A bass supper for two".

 

However, I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed looking at the scores for each picture - it seems that very few have been bothered to rate the entries this month, which is a shame given the effort that everyone has put in.

 

Hey ho....we can only try and do better next month!

You nearly did it again Janet Your pic will/should make an ideal "poster" Did you "see" the complete image when you took the shot?

 

I will have to concentrate on sunsets, seem to be very popular

No, I didn't see it....yet again, it was an accident, but at least there was a little bit of design behind it this time!

 

It was taken in my friends garden...she'd been waiting all week for this huge pink poppy to unfurl...it obliged on a day when she was out on a walking trip, so I went out to take some pictures for her, as I know that these poppies only last a day or so and it would have been past its best by the time she returned. Rather than taking just a normal shot, I decided to go for a close-up to show her a different side of her garden....

 

I set up my camera on the tripod and then this beastie landed whilst I wasn't looking! I was most surprised to see this shot when I uploaded the pictures, but delighted with it nevertheless. I'm very pleased with the others I took, as I've got some very sharp and unusual images for her, but this one was my favourite. It's not as sharp as I'd like, but as it was an accident, I can't really complain!

 

I'd love to say that I'd taken it by design, but I'd be lying....

By the way, only caught 1 bluey and 1 bream.

I think you'd have won with a wider margin on votes with that one! You are so lucky to live somewhere with views like that!

 

You only caught two fish? I would have been happy to blank if I'd had that sort of scenery around.....
