Dont think they have any Herps on the island mate,thats why the rodent problem is rampant,No predation.

surely a mass poisening will rid them of them ,if its put in tubes etc then the natural wildlife shouldnt be able to get in ,the problem then will be lots of bodies but i,m sure the biologists can get of their bums and pick them up with pointy sticks or a few long plastic pipes with mouse attracting smells set at an angle over the cliffs should let the meeces gaily "water spout" their way to their doom

Sounds like a job for some puddy tats. Just make sure they're all male or female and once they've spent their life tearing meeces to pieces, they can quietly pop their clogs and fertilise the earth.
