Depends on the size of the spider. If it's 30m long, it takes no time because it don't have to climb, just lean against the wall and lift it's arse up.

i think it IS a trick question ,was the spider marked in any way to identify it after all the first one may have dashed to the top whilst its confederates pretended to struggle and fall back diverting the watcher into THINKING the spider was verticaly walking challenged i DEMAND photographic proof backed up with written evidence :mad: both to the identity of the spider ,its web address telephone number and birthdate, the address of this building and the address of any female researcher for further "questioning" :mad:

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Do you think any of Chesters ex-teachers ended up leaving the school!!!!!!!!!!

 

I don't think it would have made it to the top it would have got squashed!!!!!

strangly my secondry school has disapeared ,i suppose its because they let smelly girls in and boys were having to walk round holding their coats in front of themselves ,rising from their chairs with a strange stoop or spending far too long in the toilet cubicals beats climbing a rope for a thrill i suppose :D

Climbs 5 meters a day slids back one meter, so is that for meter it slides 20 cms?

If that the case then it would take longer than 7 days 12 h ours more like 7 days 16 hours.

It could be done within 7.5days if it climmbs the full 5 meters before sliding back the meter
