I dont smoke I hardly drink, and ive reccently give up smoking draw, i was looking for other ways to have fun without putting lots of nasty man made addictive chemicals into my body.

 

I dont want to end up like a haggerd crack fiend i.e pete docherty

I tried "Magic Mushrooms" (Liberty Caps) just once. I didn't particularly enjoy the experience and havn't felt the need to try it again. Yes, I was aware that there were some risks attached and decided that I was prepared for any potential consequences of my actions whe I took them.

 

I make a similar decision every time I eat a piece of beef. There is a potential risk from BSE or E-Coli but I choose to take that risk and accept that there may be unpleasant consequences of my actions.

 

Obviously, I don't stare down at every forkfull thinking "This could be the one" any more than any one of the millions of people that take drugs or smoke every week in the UK look down at their fag, joint, fix or pill thinking "This could be the one that kills me" but the risks are there and in going ahead anyway, I am accepting them.

 

Jeepster's advice is sound, make yourself aware of the attendent risks (there is a remote chance that you could realise that fishing is needlessly cruel to some of gods wonderful creatures and you could end up flogging your rods on e-Bay to pay for a teepee in Wales) and then do as you choose.

Definitely now illegal http://www.thesite.org/drinkanddrugs/drugs...hroomsandthelaw ,although I can imagine how any clued-up lawyer would find all kinds of ground for challenging what seems to be a very strangely drafted law.

I can't imagine how it will stop kids looking for them, in fact it might even add a bit of spice to it. Their very illegality might even put the price up to the extent that they become an easy source of income for kids in inner city housing estates. Their re-classification might even boost their image among kids who previously regarded them as something that sad old hippies used to dabble with.

The worst possible outcome is that kids might go looking for them and eat them on the spot to avoid being caught in possession. It all seems to be the result of a knee-jerk reaction by the authorities and might have the opposite results to those intended.

I could write an equally, if not more, scary set of instructions for someone gong out drinking for the first time.....but nobody ever tells you that drinking could ever be dangerous. After all, it's perfectly legal so it must be OK.

Hi all

 

the slimey the better and those that vagabonds picture shows look like the right stuff.

 

these little things have a powerful effect if you eat,say 20-30(good time) at once,i used to walk pick eat and found many growing in my area.

the police tried spraying the areas but to no effect.

 

i too thought it was fine to eat ,but not prepare but hey,if i found any id eat them before leaving the spot.

 

those days of leaning over at low level looking for mushys. bad back

 

the main danger in drying them is that your unsure how many your taking and like i said 20-30 undried just picked ones ,can give an effect lasting from 7-9hrs depending on your luck.

 

i heard that eating them can be bad because of some parasite inside them????not sure how true but never bother'd me

 

 

ferret everyone makes thier own choices and jumping at someone is hardly helping despite any bad times you may have had he will take them anyway just to see what happens like many many people have done since the 60's etc.

he must have some brains to at least try and find out which ones are good and which very bad.

 

 

ferret ,i have done and would again would you narc me?if so i hope you know where id find them otherwise the police would careless as i would never supply and would always eat on site

 

they have more important things to do like busting scanky herroine users etc needles in parks etc those filth etc

 

we are talking a 7yrs since i last did or maybe even longer

 

i dont condone drug use but if someones gonna try at least educate them into not taking something thats gonna kill(he's atleast sensible enough to ask advice,and brave enough.

 

so help educate not threaten it doenst help and it dont look good.with age comes wisdom so lets use it

 

ben take care mate and think before you do,i had no bad times when i have taken them but each person reacts differant.(just letting the TREX out for the loo)

 

 

tip:dont do at night and never alone(or with someone not taking)

 

like said before there are variants that look like the magic mushroom so pick carefully(not the pale ones like errcted umbrellas)the dark green slimey ones which grow in meadow grass or in most moist fields.

If I want to 'educate' my way I will.

It's like anyone who smokes.

I tell they how it is and ask if they can live without ever eating again.

How would you feel if smoking knackered your sex life?

How about smoking buggering up your social life?

 

I 'educate' the way I feel is best and the softly softly way is not my way.

 

Ben is only a child and now is the time to stop him harming himself.

true he needs educating and too be honest he will do it anyway despite what we say,i smoke but know the risks and oneday when i choose il give up)

 

but il be happier knowing he knows the facts before doing something only he can stop himself doing,

 

im not having ago,we are here to advise not critize and help anyway we can.

 

(each reacts differant so ben be prepared for a bad trip its not fun and it dont look cool.(first hand witness)

 

 

as for buggering up my sex life ive smoked for 14yrs or more and alls well.

if not viagra will do

as for social life i have none and of my choosing

i like silence and have many probs which may or may not be self inflicted but im ok we all die oneday and id rather die knowing id lived allitle

despite the risks but i do see your point but people do it anyway even if id have said its bad.
