What's wrong with discussing drugs out in the open where everybody can have an opinion?

It's an interesting thread and an informative one. I see no reason to close it down.

 

Mushrooms may be ilegal in the UK, but I've seen the most straight laced of guys say "yes" to everything from Mexican Blue Caps (another mushroom) to Opium whilst on holliday and if reading this persuades them to make themselves aware of the legal position and any encombant risks to their mental and/or physical health, then that has to be a good thing.

 

BTW. This isn't the opinion of "just another Stonner". For the record, I've not taken any psychotropic drugs (other than alcohol), legally or illegally for several years.

I agree entirely, my previous response was purely based on considering it from Elton's viewpoint.

 

Bearing in mind that it is considered a Class A drug and that there are preparation methods quite clearly outlined earlier in the topic I'm surprised it hasn't been closed or deleted

and on the case of if its legal its ok, i got offerd vallium outside a gig once and turned it down.

Vallium is only legal on prescription. Buy it in the street and it is a Class C drug.

On the subject of discussing methods of taking drugs, today we had a drug education ting in school concerning cannabis and a debate on wheter it shouold be legalized or not.

 

during this discussion we had a "brain storming session" this included what we knew on how cannabis is used, so if its ok to talk about in school, then why not on here?

Total rubbish probably containing 90% rubbish and 10% cannabis.

 

Nothing wrong in discussing how it reacts, but giving instructions on how to find and use in my book is an offence, almost as bad as supplying.

 

The police are correct about bud, 99.9% home grown, far to bulky and smelly to smuggle.

 

Cannabis is in a different league from shrooms, identification is not a problem, not much chance of poisoning yourself. Apart from clogging up the lungs if smoked has no real short term problems and is less likely to make you a public menace than booze.

 

Its a strange one even politicians are amoungst the ranks of smokers, problem is if everyone turned to using cannabis (bud) instead of drinking then the booze trade would go down the pan along with all that duty and tax.

 

The best high of all is being on a beach in the middle of summer with no one in sight, terns working the sand eels and the chance of a good bass.
