Stunning website Newt. Its the speed thats so impressive. Normally mapping websites like Multimap are so slow, they've built a new road by the time the right map appears. The map is very easy to move across in any direction by simply using the centering button. Good old Google. Wonder what their market value is these days.

I tied a search for "Newt Vail" and got something, but I'm not sure what!

Might be worth a download of their Keyhole software for the free trial period. I know the best resolution for the UK is only a Km but still ... probably worth a look and only $30 per year if you want to buy the service so less than £16.

 

Since they are evidently planning to improve the resolution for non-US parts of the world, some UK interest might speed things up and you could wind up with some 2 meter coverage.

As of right now, this is the best I can manage. The red dot is by the front of my house. This picture is from the Microsoft Terra Server database.

 

I plan to get the keyhole service and will see what the view from it is like.
