I hate these hollow, meaningless 'polls'. Angling has 'won' numerous similar polls in the past, but where has it got us? How much angling do ITV and the BBC air these days?

 

All these polls are is a cynical way of increasing website hits or, as is often the case these days, gaining revenue through mobile phone votes.

Why on earth would any thinking angler want to join the CA Pete? Everyone knows that "thinking" anglers only join their own national organisation open to individual membership.
