Love it. I prefered "Bomb....Snap out of it bomb" or the scene with the inflatable alien.

 

For another clasic try "What is it ?" "I don't know but it's wiered and pi55ed off" - The Thing. Yet another John Carpenter movie.

Forgot about Hal 9000, and the computer becoming autonomous .... spooky. Must admit I felt a bit sorry for Hal when Dave started to pull the memory modules ........ "Daisy Daisy give me your answer do"

Nope don't know the the story of Hal.

Apparently Stanley Kubrick had an agreement with IBM to supply the computers for the movie.

IBM (for a reason I forget) welched on the deal, and so to stick two fingers up at IBM, Kubrick named the faulty computer in the film HAL.

 

In the alphabet, if you take the next letters after H, A, L, you get IBM.
